About this ebook
Gill L. Hood
My name is Gilbert L. Hood Jr. I was born in San Antonio, Texas, on February, 9, 1954. My father and mother were from Charlotte, North Carolina. My father retired from the Air Force and made his home San Antonio. At the age of thirteen, I was able to elude various obstacles such as gang activity and adverse grades (these would have stopped me from competing in sports) to become an "A" and "B" student and track star and to graduate from high school. In 1974, I enlisted in the United States Army, in 1990 spending 9 months in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I retired in 1995.

26921.pngIf God has given you a dream, do not take it in vain, because it is meant for you, and only you, to understand.
Not a woman, girl or boy, nor any other man.
They may seem to draw you away, in all kinds of ways.
However, they don't have that Godly feeling, or heavenly desire, to give them the ambition to live your day.
Set aside all the negative things, obstacles, and people. No man has the power over your destiny in life.
Only God has that control and power, to determine your destiny.
So may God deliver them out of your life, and keep them far away from your sight.

Let them try over and over again; they will succeed if they
