AS I look back at the year that was, I’m astounded by just how tough it’s been. We were all trying to adjust to a world after pandemic restrictions and masks, battling to find a new normal in a world that was anything but.

And it’s not as if we started strong and refreshed – there was still so much uncertainty about Covid and the pressure of things like returning to the office that started the year off on a weary note. Then came the news that Russia was invading Ukraine . . .

It’s been A LOT.

Dear readers, I hope you get to rest and relax this holiday. By the looks of it, next year is going to be another wild one so we might as well fortify ourselves with what will get us through the darkest days.

As the year ends, recharge your batteries with the people and activities
