About this ebook
Kimberly S. Schuh
Kimberly S. Schuh was born in 1957 in Waukegan, Illinois. Her father was in the military, so they moved around a lot, finally settling in California in her early teens. She loved to write, and it came naturally to her. She has never had any training or taken any classes. She said it was easy to write because it came from the heart, “I just write as it comes to me.” Writing poetry was her way of journaling about the joys in her life and finding a way to express her thoughts and feelings when she needed to cope with hard times also. She had a passion for writing. In 1997, her poem “The Deer Hunt” appeared in A Celebration of Poets. It was then that she had a dream to one day publish her own book and help inspire others. Sadly, she passed away in March 2016, before seeing her dream accomplished. This book is dedicated in her honor.

A Day in November
On a warm sunny day in November,
we were married, do you remember?
There we stood side by side,
I was so happy to be your bride.
We said our vows, pledged our love,
our marriage was blessed by God above.
Our rings exchanged, our smiles and kisses,
as we walked down the aisle Mr. and Mrs.
Years have gone by rather fast it seems,
we’ve loved, laughed, and shared our dreams.
Raising a family and many hardships too,
but through it all, I still love you.
