About this ebook

Various topics are enlightened through the media in many different forms; such as hard or soft-cover books, music, television, fiction, non-fiction, the internet, public workshops, educational sessions; all such topics revolve around life. There is information everywhere that can be sought out for what a person wants to learn or teach others. This information contributes to personalities, abilities, experiences, various skills and talents that make each person unique somehow. Not any one is exactly the same as another. Life consists also of avoiding or preventing certain things. It is my desire to initiate this kind of education based on my own experience and because of the wide-spread relevance of my circumstances. It`s also my desire to enable confidence and optimism with the basic belief that much in life has potential and much is possible with a certain perspective. The smallest things that seem insignificant can turn into something of satisfaction.)

Are You Sure?
Author

Hazel Dann

Independent and thriving as a mother, wife, sibling and friend, with a government job, a decent income, a comfortable social circle, two vehicles and three children, I had to lose everything that was achieved, attained and accomplished, in order to realize that life was not as wonderful as I believed. All that I knew and all that I had been familiar with in 35 years was likened to a stone shot from a catapult in a second. I was awakened through the survival of a near-death car accident against a five ton truck, with one of my children in the vehicle with me. As a baby is taught all things in life, I had to re-learn all these things along with my son who was 17 months. Years of different therapies and some on-going, I was humbled, inspired and educated in a way unknown to me.)

    Dedication

One magical experience that has inspired, motivated and enriched me, since the accident, is that my fourth baby girl, was born. I had much to learn and re-learn, in my recovery; mental, emotional and physical. Therefore, whatever I teach her, which is a lot, I participate in, and it still helps in my on=going recovery and progress. What is your own inspiration or motivation? Another precious moment was when my eldest daughter moved back home. Still another is that my one boy, who was in the accident with me and has brain-injury also, does very well and will keep doing well, because he is raised as a child with endless possibility and potential. I believe in living as much as possible as one without an injury and not allowing the injury to hinder one's potential. I believe, in believing that anything is possible, as long as it is safe, practical and realistic. My eldest boy is my shining light in dark unknown places, with his insight, intuition, helpfulness, thoughtfulness, empathy, patience, compassion, tolerance and perfect humour. Do you have children, nieces, nephews or know of anyone, or anything that you feel completes an important piece of your masterpiece? Last but not least, my beloved husband at that time, who finally could not keep trying to help and so parted ways mutually and as a friend; had proven to be a true and rare gem of one who bears much of the load, especially because of my poor choices, as a result of the brain injury. It has found me many pieces for my own unique masterpiece, broken some vicious cycles and continues.
