About this ebook
Westgrove, Pennsylvania. Shortly thereafter, my family
moved to Newark, Delaware where I was educated.
My family and I lived in a small stone house that was
probably a share croppers house, or belonged to one
of the workers that help tend to the farm. I lived a basic
rural life with plenty of farm animals, a huge vegetable
garden, and lots of creeks and woods to explore. At twenty
I joined the army. After the army I joined the work force,
and worked at various jobs through the ups and downs
of the vastly changing economy. I started writing poetry
in the mid 80s. It seemed to come natural to me.
After several prompting from my friends, I decided to put
my collection in a book to share with others.

Everyone in life has his/her share of troubles and adversity. The way we handle adversity, and our attitude in the midst of our troubles, can make or break our spirit. I have found out the hard way to tackle even the most difficult of troubles head-on. Rarely did a problem simply go away because I ignored it, or was downgraded because I would not recognize the full intensity of it.
This book is a collection of poems that reflect the ups, downs, and even the funny side of life. I hope this collection will give you something to laugh about, think about, and rejoice about.
Remember, no matter how difficult your life can be at times, you are never alone. Have faith, be of good cheer, for God is always with you.

Introduction
Profile of a Poet
I say a little about myself
In each and every poem I write.
Bringing forth my feelings and ideas,
To bestow some of my insight.
My poems are of a rhyming nature,
The theme is never cloudy nor gray.
I try not to be too complex or wordy
It’s very clear what I want to say.
