I was born in a small town in Indiana. My parents had five children and I was the youngest of all my siblings. I’ve always had a love of drawing and art since I was a young child. Some of my best memories are of growing up at our home out in the country, and five acres that had a pond where I used to fish a lot. I grew up learning how to work in the garden at a very young age as well. My summers were spent on our old front porch swing talking with my dad. I remember in the fall, canning fruits and vegetables from our garden and fruit trees. The old home has since been knocked down, but I will always have my memories. I also got my love of animals and music from my father.

Introduction
It is impossible to think of anyone who has not been hurt sometime in life, but the question becomes, what will we do with that pain? The purpose of this book is to help us understand why people hurt people. Then we move on to show how to heal and get help if necessary. You may be the person that is being hurt or the person doing the hurting. Either way, you are going to need to talk to someone; keeping it inside is the worst thing you could do for yourself and those you love. We all have heard the saying Hurting people hurt others.
Sometimes it is a child who gets hurt because they are the closest one to that hurting person. For the sake of the next generation, let us take a look at
