About this ebook

Black people of America, we need to stop reading books about thug life and street life. We need to read books that will open our minds to ideas and issues that will help us and our families and the future of black generations of this country. Black people of America, we were here before most of the other nationalities that are here now. We should be in a much better financial situation than we are in now. Most of us are at the bottom or near the bottom of the economic scale as a whole. We have to learn from the foreigners that stick together and open up businesses in our community. Plus we have to stop giving our hard-earned money to other nationalities and none to ourselves; in a way, we are still slaves. I wrote this book to inspire Black Americans to open there eyes to the positive changes we need to make to help our families and future black generations in America. This book shows how we are living compared to other nationalities in America, as well as the factors that are holding us back as a whole. We must remember our ancestors and the sacrifices they made when they were slaves. They were the strongest people in the world, and we are their descendants. I feel they were superhuman beings to make that trip from Africa to America. We as black Americans have that same ability in us to survive. Remember, we are the alpha race. We need to wake up and stop hitting the snooze button. May God bless this book and everyone that reads it.

Hi readers! My name is Alpha Omega Riddick. I would like to thank God for giving me the idea, time, knowledge, will power and patience to write this book. Next I would like to thank my wife, my relatives, her relatives, all my friends and co workers who kept asking me when am I going to finish writing and get it published. They gave me the inspiration to keep working on my book. So I got busy working on the book so the public can read it.

I even thank those who thought that I was joking about writing a book or thought that I was not capable of writing one. Those people gave me inspiration also. Because like I mention in another chapter. When you tell me that I can’t do something. It does not matter if I think I can do it or not. It will give me the will power to do it, and in most cases I will do it. I guess that’s the Taurus nature in me.

Next I want to thank the Xlibris publishing company for having confidence in me and my writing abilities. They were taking a chance on me because this is my first book and I am a new author. I like to thank all those who read parts of my transcript before I finished my book. They gave me some insight on how to stop the run on sentences, my spelling, my grammar, my punctuation and my layout etc.

Plus I like to thank the famous black men and black women that are doing positive things in their lives. Whether you know it or not you are an inspiration and role model to all the black youth and black people of America who have lost their way in life and don’t know which way to turn. Then I want to thank the Portrait Studio call PICTURE THIS. It’s located at 5238 Central Avenue in Cedarhurst, NY 11516 for taking pictures of me for the front and back cover of my book. I also thank America for giving me the opportunity to publish this book that will last for generations for all black people and all nationalities to read worldwide. If a 1,000 black people read my book and only 50 black people make a positive change in their life.

I accomplished my goal. Because those 50 black people that made a positive change in their life will be the role models for those who are trying to make a positive change in their life. I wish all black people would read my book because there is something in there for every black person. Whether you need to make a change in your life or not.

This is the land of opportunity and everyone should take advantage of it. I know everyone has a dream. A dream is an idea of what your heart desires. If you don’t make an effort to achieve it in your life time you will be disappointed all your life. So you should take that chance because you have nothing to lose but something to gain.

So WAKE UP BLACK PEOPLE and stop hitting the snooze button. Because our ancestors or our great-great-great grandparents proved that they are the strongest people in the world and have the greatest will to survive under any conditions. Every black person has that same ability in them because we are a part of them. Remember we are the Alpha Race. Whether you are young or old. So let’s make a move and do something positive about our situation. May God bless my book and everyone that reads it.

Introduction to Wake up Black Man and

    Black Woman 1

Wake up Black Man and Black Woman. The time has come for us to make a change in our lifestyles. Do you see what is going on right in front of us. Foreigners are coming over here to make money off of us because we don’t have any businesses of our own. That is their game plan before they come here. They set up businesses in our neighborhoods. They feel that we are foolish or ignorant because they feel we should have our own businesses. Because we were here first. In a few years they are better off than we are because they keep making money off of us. We spend money in their stores and businesses because we have no choice. We give our money to every nationality except our selves because we don’t own any businesses.

We are still slaves because we give our hard earned money to other people and none to our selves. My name is Alpha Omega Riddick. This is the first book that I have written. I have never thought of writing a book in my life time. When I was in Junior High School and High School it was hard for me to write essays, book reports and current events. Most of the times I would copy word for word from the topics that I had to write about. Usually I would get a failing grade or just passing grade on the topics. Sometimes I would get my sister or other students in the class to help me perform these tasks. Mainly because the subjects that I had to write about was not interesting enough for me and I would lose concentration when I read about the topics.

But as the years went by I learned how to read and comprehend what I was reading. Then I got better grades on the subjects that I wrote about. But even after I received better grades on what I was writing about. I was just doing it to get passing grades in my class. I was still not interesting in writing. But after the years went by after graduation I read a few books that got my attention subjects that I was interested in. But still never thought of writing a book. That was the furthest thing on my mind.

Then as I start looking at the life styles and the situation of my black people as I got older. I said to myself things have gotten worst since I moved from the projects that I grew up in. I lived there from the time I was born to the age of 16 years old. That was in the early 50s to the late 60s. Now I am 58 and things have gotten much worst in the projects and high poverty areas. When I lived in the projects me and my friends never heard of situations when a young black man or middle age black man kills someone for little or no reason. Drugs were not a priority in our lives as it is today in the projects or communities as it is now. Yea we might have smoked a little reefer and drank some wine or beer but that was it. None of us carried weapons of destruction like guns or knives. We never thought of hurting anyone physically. No one thought about hurting us either. Nowadays it seems normal to disrespect and hurt someone for little or no reason. The drug abuse among black people nationwide have reach a level that I would never have imagined when I was younger. Plus the amount of young and middle age black men and black women in prison now is astronomical. Not only that the amount of money we waste on material things make no sense. To me it seems like we as a black race are headed for distinction in the next 200 to 300 years by the way we are living. Then I said to myself there must be a way to get my black people to make a change in their lives and see why we are in the situation that we are in. So I decided to write a book to make us aware of what is going on in our lives that is keeping us at the bottom of the economic scale.

So I mainly talk about the family issues when a black man leaves his family that leads to the fall of the family structure. The black on black violence. The amount of black men and black women that are in jail. The drugs that are taking over the community. The way we waste money on material things. The way foreigners are opening businesses in our communities that we should have.

The amount of dropouts among black youths. The education system that needs to be changed. Relationships that needs to be improved among black families. The different religions that we have. Health problems that black people have young and old. Financial situation that we have no knowledge about. The black athletes that are doing negative things when they are off the field. The rappers that are saying negative things in there lyrics. Black actors and actresses and entertainers that are doing the right thing. The black inventors male and female that we don’t know about. The disrespect some of us have toward our ancestors or our great-great-great grandparents that went through hell for our survival and their own when they were slaves. The Black President that we have and all black people should be using him as a role model. There are a lot of topics that I talk about. Positive and negative issues.

I know some of us are living right. But it is not enough because most of us are living wrong. We have to help those that are living wrong and show them the way because they are a part of us. Most of the younger black generations come from broken homes and they are lost. They need the guidance and support from the people of the old school. Because we have the knowledge of generations of the past and we need to show them the way. So like I said before we have to WAKE UP and help the black youth in America. Because if they fall most of us will fall and the generations after them will fall also.

Introduction to Wake up Black Man and

    Black Woman 2

Black Man and Black Woman Wake Up! In the next 200 to 300 years the population of the black American race may be half as much as it now. The reason why I say this is because of the way our black youth are killing off each other for little or no reason. The usage and selling of drugs and the involvement of crime in the communities are putting our black men and black women in prison. Too many black people are in prison. Each year there is a higher percentage of black people in jail for murder, illegal gun possession, theft, assault, drug dealing and possession and many other crimes that are committed against the law.

The statistics say that over 1/3 or 33% of black men between the ages of 16 and 32 will go to prison or jail. As the years go by the percentage will get higher. Sooner or later it will be 1/2 or 50%. This is the type of incarceration that leads to genocide and extinction of a race. We need the young black men and young black women to reproduce so our generations can multiply as the centuries go by. If 1/3 or 1/2 or more of them are in jail it will never happen.

The black men that make babies and leave their woman are causing this nation to have the highest amount of broken families in the world. Most broken families have financial problems that cause the children to be deprived of many of the necessities of life. The young men grow up and have destructive behavior toward most people. The girls start looking for a father figure and they usually pick the wrong man and get pregnant at a very young age. The mother gets desperate because of her financial situation and usually pick the wrong man. It may be a man that disrespects here and her kids. All of this happened because the father left the woman and kids. In most cases it causes a chain reaction of negative situations as the years go by.

We are the only nationality that have the most broken families. Other nationalities value raising their family. The men of other nationalities in most cases do not leave their family because they know the family will break down and get weak. The man knows the kids are a part of him and he is a part of them and if he hurts them by leaving he hurts his self also.

So let’s WAKE UP black man. Stop leaving your woman and family. You are the foundation of the house. She is your backbone. The kids need you as a role model and father figure. The man of the house have to show them the right way to do things. Especially when it comes to staying with your woman and family. When the kids see that the father leaves his wife and family. The kids get mixed messages about life and how a family is suppose to be. The boys will figure when they get older and raise a family they should leave there wife and kids also. The girls will figure when they get older and have a family there husband will leave her and the kids one day. That is no way young people should act or feel when they get out on their own. Now on the other hand if the man stays with the wife and kids. The children will do the same thing. Then there children will do the same thing also. The rest of the generations will follow.

To me that is the greatest problem that we as black people have nationwide. Because this problem of black men leaving their woman and family leads to other negative things that happen to the children of the broken homes. Look at the prison system. Most people in the prison system are black people. The race of men that leave their family the most are black men. Most of the black men and woman that are in prison come from broken homes. Their father left them before he gave them the knowledge of how to be a man or a woman.

It is a shame and a disgrace for a man to leave his woman that had kids for him and they are a part of him. I know for a fact that most of the problems or reasons could have been worked out between the man and woman. But somewhere down the line someone ran out of patience or did not know how to forgive the man or woman. Now if the man had reasons or excuses to leave the woman because of adultery, drug abuse, alcoholism, gambling, or not raising the kids right. He should forgive her and stay with her. Because everybody makes mistakes in life man and woman. In some cases the woman might not be causing any problem in the household. But the man will make some kind of excuse to leave the woman.

The man should remember that God made him strong like him. God made man in his own image. God will not but any burden on you that you cannot handle. He did not make you to run from any situation in life. God made you to be strong and fight the problems that be. When you do stand strong and fight the problems he will give you the strength to fight it and you will come out on top of the situation no matter what it is. So stay with your woman and kids black man. Nobody is perfect. All black men need to know how to forgive their woman no matter what she did before you to think about leaving her. If you made a mistake in your relationship you would expect her to forgive you. Sometimes it’s the man that is causing the problem in the house hold. Then the woman wants to through him out. Therefore the man should never do anything to cause the woman to throw him out the house hold. Other men in other nationalities forgive their woman and work out their differences and problems. Because they know the consequences of leaving their woman and kids. They do not want there off springs to do the same thing or expect the same thing when they get married and raise their family. So come on black men and black woman let’s WAKE UP we know what we have to do to correct the problem that we have nationwide. We must not forget our ancestors and what they went through for their own survival and ours. We must take our minds to a higher level to solve the problems that we have toward ourselves and in our community. Remember our ancestors had the strongest minds and bodies in the world and we need to take our minds to that level also. Because we are the Alpha race of people and we need to show ourselves and the world that we can survive any situation and come out on top no matter what the odds are. So let’s WAKE UP and put ourselves to the test.

    United we stand

United we stand. Divided we fall. This is an old saying, but it’s true. You know sometimes you have to look at other nationalities to see why they are more prosperous than us. One of the main reasons is that they stick together. There is always strength in numbers. When you stick together you can solve positive and negative problems much better than if you were to try to do it alone or with an unorganized group of people.

Yes we know how to stick together when it comes to partying, wearing name brand clothing, up to date sneakers, the newest cell phones, new hair does, tattoos, talking slang and keeping up with the latest dances at the clubs. Remember back in the old school days black people young and old wore Afro hair does. We were all on the same page when it came to hair styles. You see how we do the electric slide at the clubs and house parties. Everyone is in rhythm moving in harmony with the music. It works and it looks good because everyone is on the same page. Now if we can stick together doing things like that, why can’t we stick together to solve problems in real life situations? Like opening businesses in the community, helping each other graduate from school, solving negative problems in the community, etc. It’s a natural reason why people stick together. There is strength in numbers. You have confidence in any situation or problem that you might come across. When you are united you have a better chance of defeating the problem weather it’s negative or positive.

Some people say that black people do not stick together. That’s not true. The truth is that
