Jordan was faced with transforming his life or continuing on the path of so many he knewthe path to prison.

RODNEY JORDAN has a master’s degree in new professional studies from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Norfolk State University. Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, Jordan now lives in the Washington, D.C. metro area where he teaches sixth grade Language Arts and United States History. Tired of Being Black is his first published work.
