In loving memories of my parents, Gen. Florencio Martin Albanez Medina and Carmen Agco Samaco Medina, to whom I owe who I am today. My parents gave my husband, my daughters, and I the opportunity to live and travel around Europe. My mother taught me how to cook, practice social graces, and graciously entertain. My parents introduced us to the corps of diplomat, the protocol of entertaining high officials and diplomats, as well as being children of a military officer.

Everyone must develop their social skills. Having well-developed social skills not only eases communication but also makes life richer.

Social skills include how to properly behave at the dinner table, how to introduce guests, how to greet friends and acquaintances, etc. Social skills are indicative of a person’s manners or how a person respects another.

Posture, grooming, dressing up, speaking, and the manner of behaving in good taste boost self-confidence, which leaves an impression on others.
