    A letter for the reader-

    Hey there,

I hope you are doing great. First of all I would like to congratulate you that you have faced it all since so long. What? You must be thinking.

    THE STIGMAS OF THE SOCIETY.

Yeah, I do know that each one of us face them, be it on our color, sexual orientation, looks or anything termed as imperfect in the society. I am pretty sure you agree to me, don’t you?So, if you and I are both suffering that means others out there are too. The question arises, if everyone is facing it who is standing up for it? There might be influencers or social workers who are, but the thing is can 10 people save a 1000? No, they cannot and yes it isn’t about saving here, I said that to cite the example. Here, a powerful voice cannot change the mind of a million people because it isn’t that easy.

Some might be standing up using social media, there are people who don’t use it. Even if they do, they might prefer spending

time watching reels rather than hearing them so even if voices are being heard, they aren’t being heard to the larger extent they should. It concerns me a lot and I guess it does to you too, but the thing is when are we going to convert our concern into actions?

Now, you would be thinking that what should I do? I understand if you don’t have time for campaigns or programs for spreading awareness or fighting against stigmas but the least you could do is educate one family i.e. your own. Tell your parents about things considered a taboo in the society and explain them why all of it shouldn’t be. If you feel uncomfortable speaking about it to them, start with your friends. If all of us fight against at least any one social stigma to spread awareness and ask that person to tell it to one more person, imagine how much our nation, our world would grow and how beautiful it would become to live in it.

    YOU ARE CHANGE

Always remember this. You might think what can a single person do but as said do not under estimate your power.Because first

thing, being honest everyone is unique in some way or the other and it is your uniqueness you can use to change the world. All you need is a little determination to BE THE CHANGE.

Now, talking of stigmas, let me share a few things that we as people can add to our lives to make these so called taboos extinct.
