    Meditation for Life! - Volume 1 - Terry Drew Karanen

    Dedication

    This book is dedicated to the late

    Rev. Dr. Juanita Dunn,

    who was my guide, my friend and my support for many years;

    to Sandhi Scott, the minister who

    first taught me that God loved me no matter what;

    to the late Phyllis Whitney, my spiritual mom who

    gave me my very experience of affirmative prayer;

    to Dr. Ernest S. Holmes who first developed

    a method of affirmative prayer that has become

    the basis of my life and teaching;

    and, to all the people for whom I have prayed

    as well as those numerous bright lights

    who have prayed for me throughout the years.

    It is in change that things find purpose.

    Heraclitus

    Divine Guidance and Love are mine. There is no division in God. All is God. Spirit expresses as me.

    The universe is constantly changing as do I. At times I may be required to grow in directions and ways unfamiliar to me. I speak the Word of God that Infinite Intelligence and Divine Wisdom within are mine to access, use and from which to benefit.

    I relax into the peace of God. I bask in the harmony of God. I am healed by the comfort of God. All that I am is God. I release anything that would stand in the path of my growth. I rejoice that my changes are occurring with grace and ease. I allow the Christ Light within me to shine brilliantly as I live this day to the fullest. And so it is.

    When you are open with another, you experience the presence of God.

    Stephen C. Paul

    There is one Life. That Life is Love. That Love is all there is. That Love is me.

    I speak the Word of God about the love in my life. I see only love. I am only love. I experience only love. All my relationships are open and loving. I express myself with ease and clarity in any situation. I surround myself with people who are open to giving love and affection to others. The love I have to give is welcomed and appreciated by those same people.

    I refuse to see conflict anywhere in my life. I accept ease and grace in all my relationships. I know the highest good of all concerned is always present and I accept it with gratefulness and thanksgiving. And so it is.

    My words fly up, my thoughts remain below:  Words without thoughts never to heaven go.

    William Shakespeare

    There is One God, One Power, One Life. I am expressing as that Power. That Life is my life.

    As I speak my word it is the Word of God. All which I speak I expect to come about. My words reflect the faith of my heart. My voice speaks with authority knowing that I have inner conviction of all which I say. The Law responds to my command, for it cannot do otherwise. I embody the desire, I use the Power and the Law produces the result.

    I rejoice in the simplicity of this process. I release anything that would or could stand in the way of the perfect manifestation of my desires. I know the Truth and I let God do the work. And so it is.

    It should be noted that children at play are not playing about; their games should be seen as their most serious-minded activity.

    Montaigne

    God is love, joy and peace. God is play. I am one with that Presence of Play right here and right now.

    I allow more play into my life. I open to playing, to having fun, to enjoying my life. As I speak my word for a life filled with joy, I open to new ways to play, new avenues to explore and new friends with whom to share my love. All my relationships are harmonious and joy-filled. No matter what I am doing I find a fun way to do it.

    I release drudgery and making things hard. I let go of thinking play is only for children. I accept my playtime along with all the rest of my wonderful life and give thanks that my consciousness opens now to accept it. And so it is!

    Remove the rock from your shoe rather than learn to limp comfortably.

    Stephen C. Paul

    There is One Life. That Life is the life of God. That Life is my life now. I am one with all there is. I am Spirit, individualized as me.

    I speak the Word of God in knowing the
