My Jesus Journal - Teresa Dryden

    No One Word

    Whatever trial I have,

    if only I trust Him,

I know He will see me

    through whatever need

I have; all I have to

do is let Him know and

    without hesitation my

    need He supplies.

    There’s no one word to

    describe Him. He’s awesome,

    mighty, divine, and loving.

    There’s one thing I know

    for sure—He will take

    good care of me.

    I know I’m not alone;

    He is always with me.

He lifts me up when I

    feel down. He’s my source

    of strength when I feel

    weak. He brings me comfort

    in times of sorrow, and

    He is my healer.

    God’s Love, Mercy, and Grace

    He touches me every

day with His love. He lets

me know, if no one else loves

    me, He does.

    With his mercy, He lets

    me know there is comfort

in time of sorrow. He looks

at me as being a special

    person, one worthy of forgiveness.

    By His grace, He saves

me and gives me a chance

to let Him know how much

it means to me I can call

    Him my friend.

    The Light

    A light

    in times of darkness.

    That shines with love

    and care for the broken-

    hearted.

    A light

    that shines when things

    are nothing but turmoil,

    and you need peace of

    mind and serenity.

    A light

    that shines when you

    feel alone and lonely.

    To comfort and bring

    a sense of worth to

    the lowly in spirit.

    A light

    that shines on the

    outside when you

    share with another

    person who the

    true light is.

    The true light

    is Jesus Christ.

    Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome

    Holy Spirit, I welcome

you to come into my heart

    and fill me with your

    presence. So I can move

    mountains and be able to

    cross the river without

    drowning.

    Holy Spirit, I welcome

you to use me for your

glory. So I can win lost

    souls to Jesus and help

them to realize God is all

    they need.

    Holy Spirit, I welcome

you to fill my body with

    living waters and my soul

    with everlasting love for

    you that will burn strong

    with each passing day.

    My Hope

My hope is in the Lord.

    With Him, I know things

    will get better and tears

    will turn into laughter.

With Him, I know a sleepless

    night can become a calm,

    peaceful bliss, if one prays

    before lying down.

My hope is in the Lord.

With Him, I know even though

    disappointments come and

we feel we fail at everything

we do, He has a better plan.

All we have to do is accept

    His precious gift of eternal

    life.

My hope is in the Lord.

With Him, I know when I

feel down, He will lift me

up. When I feel sad, He

will cheer me up, and when

I feel lonely, He will wrap

His arms around me and say,

    My child, there is hope.

    Heaven

    Heaven—

a place I want to go

    where there is no more
