    Preface:

    The Importance of Why

    I am but a mere vessel, a spiritual energy conduit, for love, light, and

    healing. To understand my ‘Why?’ you have to take a moment to

    understand the ‘How’ I got to this place of discovering the power behind

    the ‘Why’. Growing up in a ‘traditional’ household where Father is the

    breadwinner and Mother takes care of home (raising children, keeping

    house, creating a foundation of family, etc), creates an image of what

    your future is to come. Also making note that I went to and graduated

    from one of the most prestigious learning institutions (The Kinkaid

    School) in the country and there increases the scope or added layer of

    what my purpose or path should be. Every All-American kid understands

    that you need to get good grades in school to get accepted into a good

    college. Once at said college, you are to achieve the highest of academic

    standards to secure a favorable job to prosper in the proper chosen

    career. In my case, I had a burgeoning basketball career, and my focus

    was solely on becoming a professional athlete. Never once, did I give

    thought to the ‘WHY’ I wanted to achieve these goals. I suppose looking

    back, I felt it was expected of me, and if it was expected of me then I

    should expect that of myself. Going down this path of which I felt I was

    pre-ordained for came with obstacles and hurdles that would
