About this ebook

Life and its mysteries are the subject of Peggy Woods profound and thoughtful poetry collection, Ramblings From a Soul. Beautifully written and nuanced, Ramblings From a Soul explores the ways we connect (and dont connect), even as it urges us to examine the deeper moments of life. Woods has a real artists eye, using images that are fresh, haunting, and completely unique to present a worldview that touches us to our very souls. Both deeply personal and touchingly universal, Ramblings From the Soul presents a stellar collection that honors the spirit and inspires the soul.

I dedicate this book first to my darlings, Rick and Will, for their constant love and support. I also dedicate it to my amazing Wednesday night ladies, all of them, for allowing me to grow and become strong enough to take this step. To my NJ duo I express sincere thanks for letting me know others understand my words. My final dedication is to my Mama, who planted the seed that has finally seen the sun.

Journaling these dreams and thoughts were my effort

to figure out what they were saying

or offer a perception not previously explored.

This book, I feel, is an opportunity to explore

by holding the words in one’s hand
