Exhausted & Sleepless - Lena Holfve
preface
I have helped thousands of sick people out of brain fog and exhaustion since 2016 by using the same method that made me healthy.
It all started with an article about ‘Exhaustion’ shared online by thousands of people. I understood that sufferers wanted to know more about how I got better. I also wanted to see if more people than I could recover entirely from exhaustion syndrome,
which is why an action program was created. It quickly became apparent that the knowledge transfer worked, and a year later, the sick asked to receive the first course as a book.
We have had conversations within my fatigue school about how the book should be designed. A vast majority asked me to write it as a simple instruction manual:
Now you do this!
I've had brain fog myself, and I understand the point. But as a writer, it invites me against writing to people on the nose about what to do. It had to be a compromise.
The first part is written as an instruction manual; you should use it until you are rid of all brain fog. It takes anywhere from a few weeks to months.
Once you have regained full reading ability, you can take on the second part, where you get the theory behind it.
What helped? Why does it help? How did you get out of the brain mist? My Fatigue School Course 2, about sleep disorders, is included in this book, and you can use both when you can read unhindered. Welcome to the most important journey of your life.
The table of content is at the end of the book.

When do you lose your brain mist?
No one can say it because it is entirely individual. But you can study what experienced participants responded in the fall of 2016, having then gone in the program a few months:
It is essential to understand that there is none and that the program is not a quick fix. We have a lot to correct and take one thing at a time. Those who should not use this method are pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Also, those who eat medications that affect stomach juices, who take blood thinners or antihistamines, those who have gallstones, and those who are due to have surgery soon should first talk to their doctor. More information about these groups can be found later in the book.
Incidentally, the method is harmless, but we are often life-sensitive, so we always start with a little and increase slowly. Whatever it is, which you bring in and that's new, let's have some.
one big thing every other day
It is an important rule. Just do one big thing every other day when you have brain fog. If not, you're likely to have setbacks.
Once every ten days, stir together in a saucepan for turmeric paste:
½ dl turmeric
1 – 1 ½ dl water
1/3 teaspoon black pepper
One teaspoon of coconut oil
It should simmer thoroughly, for about eight minutes, until you have a smooth paste. It lasts about two weeks in the refrigerator in a sealed glass jar. Make larger batches in each compartment and freeze a teaspoon in regular ice cube boxes.
once a day
Take one teaspoon of turmeric paste. Finger heat three dl coconut milk - dilute with water/oat or almond milk initially because coconut milk is powerful. We use Garant, Santa Marias, or King Markatta's coconut milk. Let one teaspoon of turmeric paste heat in a saucepan with milk and spices on low heat, stirring until the drink smokes. Vary between ½ teaspoon support cardamom kernels or true Ceylon cinnamon every other day. Also, add ½ teaspoon of liquid vanilla extract, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and a pinch of black pepper. Remove the saucepan from the plate and stir before adding at least ½ - 1 teaspoon of genuine honey when everything has cooled down. Honey is destroyed above +37oC.
The honey
sold in stores is most often just sugary water. It is essential that you get natural honey. Sweeten more to your taste, and drink. Every day! If you tend to forget, put a note on the fridge:
THE GOLDEN MILK!
Gold milk should ideally be drunk in the evening, half an hour before you go to sleep. But try it out and find out if it suits you. Some feel that it makes them alert; they should drink it in the morning. We're all different. Moreover, if you don't like the coconut milk flavor, you can choose King Markattas; it tastes the least coconut, and you can add some blueberries.
If you feel that the drink becomes to mastic with only coconut milk, you can dilute it with water, almond, or oat milk, but try to increase the proportion of coconut milk as you go along; it is an essential ingredient for getting rid of brain fog.
Feel good about the golden milk.
If you feel sick, have a headache, or feel discomfort, you should immediately back off and stop using the potent golden milk for a couple of days. Start again gently with 10% of the dose and increase slowly.
It would be best never to torment yourself and listen to your body. Always! It is also essential that the dosage is increased carefully. So that we can focus on never removing anything or going back; instead, we gradually add.
If you are seriously ill, as sometimes we are, changing habits too much and too quickly will make a huge transition for your body.
Once you have gotten into the routine of drinking golden milk, then when you can cope, you should start drinking freshly squeezed half a lemon in warm water every morning. Lemon is basing and counteracts acidification in the body. Pack many, pour in ice cube molds, and freeze them.
You can buy eco-citrons and freeze them when you find them at a reasonable price. Lemons benefit from being frozen.
Ph value is in disarray.
It corrects later when you have been drinking what you are going to for a while and get the system in order.
What we are doing now in the first step is that we are knocking down an unpleasant symptom of brain fog. Everything becomes infinitely more manageable as you can think and remember again. Drink the school's now-mentioned drinks daily until you're reasonably clear in your head.
Add fresh ginger when you're used to making turmeric paste and have been drinking Golden Milk for a while. Then you take another critical step to knock down inflammations in the hippocampus, for example. Ginger is, in many ways, more potent than turmeric and pepper, and they are unbeatable. If you get fresh ginger, preferably from Peru and not China, just run it in a blender with water.
Ginger should be ideally used during the day. Some people drink Golden Milk in the evening and don't mix any ginger in it at all because they love their Golden Milk as it is. Some people tear ginger into the Golden Milk. Some do a lot at once and freeze in ice barns. Some have ginger in food, and some prefer it in tea. The easiest way to peel ginger is with a spoon and then freeze them in plastic bags. Then you can tear down what you need and return what you don't use in the freezer. The main thing is that you start with much ginger. If you are pregnant, have blood disorders, or are on medication, learn about ginger's restrictions.
to do
Ingredients:
200-300 grams of fresh ginger
1 litre of water
½ dl honey
Two lemons, the juice
Curl and grate the ginger. You don't have to scale it. Put the grated ginger in a saucepan, pour on the water, and heat, stirring. Strain the ginger away. After everything cools to room temperature, stir in the honey, mix in the juice of 2 lemons, and pour the shot into a clean bottle. Store it in the refrigerator, and it will last for several weeks. Shake the bottle before pouring your shot. 6-8 centiliters every day is enough.
What I've asked you to do may be too much for us. We can't take it. I can't think. I can't take it! Then it is essential to listen to those who have experience: www.utmattad.net
do not exercise with brain fog
If you're getting better, and it can be quick for some people, that doesn't mean you're healthy. This wasn't the cure.
We've just fixed it up so you can think again. Take it easy. Rest! It would be best if you still were well. Just move as much as your body wants.
Exercising can be dangerous, and we often skin for absolutely nothing. We can't possibly even go up a small staircase without breathing.
The environment thinks we don't have fitness, and we want us to move. It has also waltzed around a false research report that says exercise is good for us. It's just the other way around.
We can fall for no reason.
I had an accident with a sister in my fatigue school who fell and broke her back, and I fell, broke my leg, and suffered a fracture of the upper jaw that required nine surgeries—Scribble in a pool where it doesn't matter if you fall. Sit on a chair by an open window and breathe deeply. Get in bed and move.
You can use music if you feel stressed in the morning when you wake up and often get tired between 14:00 and 16:00.
music in the bedroom
Binaural beats on Spotify. It's a new type of music that talks to the brain.
There are many different playlists. Listen through and see which one suits you best. There are also CDs in the meta-music trade—more on the music in the second part of this book.
You turn it on weakly in the bedroom and leave it on for eight hours while you sleep. If it feels unfamiliar, you can start 15 minutes before falling asleep and then turn it off. Many love this; others don't. Test your way through. But take this method bloody seriously; it has helped many of us.
In the starting kit, you should have lavender and rosemary oil. You can have a few drops of lavender oil on the pillow or a fall between your eyes when you are going to sleep. You can sniff the rosemary oil gently during the daytime.
Like we've done, come back to this book when you've got your head back,
as we usually put it, and I'll explain everything in detail. Get the golden milk, ginger, and lemon, and try to get your broth in the routine from now on.
Put the book down now. Use the book's first pages; the others can be consulted directly and then when the brain mist has dropped.
Why would you drink gold milk?
