About this ebook

In this spiritual battle, we learn how narcissism is the work of the devil. In this book, I connect the dots to the wicked behaviors of narcissistic abusers to Biblical scripture. In order to see what we need to see, we have to be in God's reality with two clear lenses. We are warned about narcissistic abuse in many books of the Bible and it is important to understand that it comes from many sources. The abusers learn their ways from a number of outside influences, but most importantly, those influences are internal, where the battle between good and evil truly begins.

    Dedication & Thanks

I dedicate this book to Jesus Christ, our Savior, the light and the way to the Heavenly Father, God Almighty. Thanking God for another day, every day keeps me going and keeps me alert to see what He needs me to see. Jesus is and has been my inspiration to get this information out to the public.

I thank the Godhead first and foremost for all that happens, good and bad, because life is full of ongoing lessons. Secondly, I thank all my supporters in the Quora family and my immediate family for standing by my side through thick and thin.

I want to thank all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ for being who you are and staying steadfast with the Godhead. In this spiritual battle, we all need to keep that full armor of God on to thwart the fiery darts of the wicked. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

    Introduction

All Bible verses are from the King James Version.

Many books have been written about narcissism over the last several decades, with emphasis on narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) and some on how the culture of narcissism has plagued every aspect of our daily lives. References to a few of these are at the end of this book for further reading. I am going to take the spiritual approach combined with behavioral analysis because narcissistic behaviors are found in the Bible, and after surviving several narcissistic abusive relationships, including workplace abuse, it is not a coincidence that many of us realize that narcissism is the work of the devil. Only when we get rid of all rose-tinted lenses can we see the real evil that walks among us.

Narcissism is essentially an all about me persona and an entitlement mindset. Narcissists believe they deserve what they want. Narcissists are the school bullies who pick on, mock, make fun of others, and beat people down just to make themselves feel superior. Narcissists have a holier than thou attitude, they believe they are always right, and they are big time back stabbers, untrustworthy, and sneaky. Narcissists are toddlers in adult bodies who are emotionally stunted between ages 3-7. Narcissists are abusers. They abuse everyone who crosses their path, and many don’t even know they are being psychologically and emotionally manipulated by the devil himself. Narcissists are the most conniving and manipulative creatures roaming the earth with no self-identity or feelings of self-worth because the devil has control of their minds.

At the peak of my spiritual awakening, I started diving back into scripture and already had an idea that narcissists were working for the devil. Upon reading Romans 1:22-32, a Eureka moment hit, and I instinctively knew narcissism is the work of the devil, and that he uses human vessels to carry out his iniquities. A lot of people still do not know they are being abused and held back from finding their way to God through Jesus Christ, as the churches have been corrupted by satan for a very long time. What will be reiterated throughout this book is how the devil uses narcissists as a vessel the same way God chooses empaths as a vessel. Note the difference between ‘uses’ and ‘chooses’ because this is a very important point.

Narcissists use people to take whatever they can from them and even destroy them. Empaths choose to give what they can to help others. It is important to note, however, that the devil uses non-narcissists who are unaware of the spiritual battle within. When we verbalize something that angers the devil, he will use whoever is in our presence to attack us verbally. Then the human vessel he used will sit and watch the target’s reaction, studying their facial expression to see if he won over any emotions.

We, as empaths, are the soldiers for God while narcissists are the soldiers for the devil in this spiritual battle on earth. The devil uses anyone who will do his evil bidding, and many are crept in unawares they are doing so. It is difficult to look at people and think they are working for the devil, but we know evil exists when we see murderers and rioters. What we don’t find out until much later is the evil army is much larger than we realized. The term covert narcissist was coined to describe the seemingly charming people who deceive us by making us believe they are good, have almost everything in common with us, and then turn around to stab us in the back. Narcissists are abusers to everyone, including each other.

As a behavioral analyst who sees narcissism rather quickly in anyone who is a narcissist, the subtype is not relevant. The abuse starts and ends the same way with any ‘type’ of narcissist, except not all of them are physical abusers. Most of them are psychological, verbal, and emotional abusers. Only as a descriptor will the term covert narcissist be used to illustrate how these evil beings fool everyone into falling in love with them, becoming best friends with them, and even becoming personally involved in the workplace by busting through boundaries. I strongly advise others to never, ever become personally involved with coworkers. Narcissists are the most insanely jealous bunch you will ever know, and they will sabotage your position and any future advancement opportunities.
