It is a lack of preparation that causes people to be unable to deal with the fiery darts that life throws at them. When you are not mentally prepared for life's adversities, you will give up too soon. One of the reasons many people are depressed in the world today is a lack of resilience. It is also the reason why many people have taken or attempted to take their own lives. Every year, approximately 800,000 people worldwide commit suicide, according to the World Health Organization.
This is a sad development, which is why you should become stronger, develop your mental muscles, and develop a tough skin in accordance with Steve Maraboli's recommendations. Going to the gym does not make you stronger for life. Rather, the preparation is primarily, if not entirely, mental and psychological in nature. Adversity is the most effective trainer; experience is the best teacher. Nobody ever wants to face misfortune. We would all have preferred to go through life without any bumps.
