This book is dedicated to my nephew, Tre’Malik Russell, who I lost on August 12th, 2016. Tre was twenty-one years old when he lost his life to gun violence. I was twenty-four years old at the time and this was by far the biggest lost I have ever experienced. Though he was my nephew, Tre and I grew up together and were more like brothers. Losing my nephew opened my eyes to realize that the world is so much bigger than me, and it made me realize that there were a bunch of little boys and girls across the world that I could impact deeply through my philosophy. I realized that success is not determined by personal achievements, but more so the impact that you can make in the world.
Appreciation
To Mom,
Thank you for loving me and always supporting me in anything I do. You always walked with gratitude and uplifting energy, showing me a true example of what positivity means. Thank you for raising me with love and everlasting support.
To Dad,
Thank you for doing whatever had to be done to support our family. Witnessing your work ethic has made me the man that I am today. Thank you for pushing me to maximize my potential with my mind.
Introduction
Life is tough and trying to reach the level of success you deserve is even tougher. In a world full of distractions and obstacles holding you back, it is important to find a way to be consistent in maintaining a strong work ethic to attain your desires. It is common for many to become confused when attempting to get their wants in life and business. What causes the confusion is the inability to create a clear vision of what you want, along with forming the proper habits and behaviors to bring it to life. I witness so many people struggle in life and it is hurtful because I know they have the potential to be great. Anybody has the ability to attain their wants, but most people don’t because it requires a process that many are not familiar with. I wrote this book because I’ve developed a methodology and guide to this difficult process of achieving one’s desires; I believe I would be doing the world a disservice by not sharing the information.
You do not attain what you want in life and business by pursuing what you want blindly. You attain what you want by becoming the person aligned to those desires. You become a person that carries the aligned mindset, behaviors, habits, and emotions needed to bring it to life. The interesting thing about attaining your wants, is that it naturally happens once you reframe yourself into the person needed to make it happen. It becomes a surprise to see the number of opportunities that just magically appear once you reach this state. But it is no magic, it is alignment. And it is actually quite easier than you may think. This book provides straight forward context, principles, and methodologies intended to form you into the person it takes to get whatever it is you want in life. It is not like there is a lack of resources and opportunity.
We live in a world of abundance where anything that you want to attain is available. Think about it: what do you want out of life that is not available for you to get? Nothing. You just have to transform into a person that is aligned to what you want to attain. I know this may sound outlandish to you right now. Maybe you are someone whose circumstances feel so insurmountable that this idea of abundance is laughable to you. I understand that. I have been there. And I want you to continue reading, because I believe there is abundance available for you, too.
Growing up in a bad neighborhood and experiencing many things that could have distracted me from a successful life, I made a decision early in life that I wanted more. I refused to become a product of my environment, and leveraged my adversity as a fuel to attaining my desires. I have overcome my circumstances to graduate college, attain my Master of Business Administration, take an accelerated path to success in the corporate space, and build a profound business in the Trucking industry. As I attained more of my wants, I consistently discovered more and more principles that I utilized to make this life a reality. As I was writing this book, I heavily reflected on what worked and what didn’t. The interesting thing about reaching the success that you desire is that you will unlock more and more tactics to continuously accelerate the path. I want to share what I discovered with you so that your path may be even easier and more accelerated than mine.
Imagine the progress of becoming a person that has the ability to attain more and more out of life. Imagine getting what you want, and then building a mindset that will continue to multiply its abundance because you have become the person who can unlock your potential. Amazing opportunities continuously just show up in your life because you have figured out the way to naturally gravitate towards them. We all have this ability to be great, we just have to become aligned to greatness. I promise that after reading this book, you will define what you want, and discover the way to make it a reality. There is no more time to wait because the acceleration must begin now. You will become a person that attains what they want, and then your standards will continuously upgrade as you ride the journey to personalized success. You will become aligned to your desires because you will form the mindset, behaviors, habits, and emotions. You will implement a life of self-love and gratitude to reach a place of self-fulfillment. And I am about to help you get there.

Hard Work isn’t Enough
Growing up, it was the same routine throughout the week. At 4 A.M., an alarm clock would go off and wake up the entire house. Every single day, even on the weekends, a loud ring would go off that could be heard from any part of the house. The alarm wasn’t meant for me, my mom, or any of my siblings, it was meant for my dad to wake up and go to his job at a steel mill called Buckeye Steel. He had worked there since he was nineteen years old, all the way until he was fifty-two. We would all wake up to the alarm, then go right back to sleep until it was time to get ready for school. We would go to school, get home around 2:30 P.M., and my dad would get home around 3:30. I would run to the door and hug my dad on the leg out of excitement that he was home. He would be dead tired carrying his lunch box as well as a strong stench of oil from the mill.
I was really young at the time, probably in elementary school, but could easily notice how tired my dad was. I could tell his body was strained, he was unhappy, and he was ready to just cool down to relax after working ten hours in a dangerous steel mill that would often reach over 100-degrees Fahrenheit. My dad knew that I noticed how tired he was and would always repeat to me: You need to make sure you go out and get an education, so you do not have to work hard like I do.
My dad would often repeat this same quote to me at least 2-3 times a week.
He would then follow up with his next favorite quote: "The one thing that nobody can take away from you is your knowledge and
