To see what changes we can make within ourselves to help young girls to grow into confident young women without judging every thing another women does. Also to find spiritual growth, spot the difference between good and bad judgment. Make positives responds on their lives as well as others. Find their self worth and know who they are through power and love.

CHAPTER ONE

THE MANY TYPES OF WOMEN

What does it take for two women to be friends? I often find myself asking this question since women are known to be difficult to have pleasant encounters with each other at any given time. We often talk too much when we need to listen and remain silent when we need to talk. We generally think the other woman is our competition and always try to target her by putting her down to make ourselves feel glorified. We know ourselves as such emotional creatures we sometimes prey on our girlfriends rather than trying to be a friend and say Have you heard that Sarah is breaking up with John? Girl she’s going to lose that man. Not evening stopping for a moment to be mutual minded about the situation. We automatically assumed it was Sarah’s fault. Other examples are those such as, your girlfriend has a good husband or significant other we are known to look for flaws. The couple probably has a perfectly good relationship but we as women are going to try to find a smudge, no matter how small! The magnifying glass is on, because we just want to think it’s just too good to be true. How awful!

There are different types of women lovers- those who want to be loved or give love, caregivers-those who feel complete taking care of others no matter what the situation (mother Theresa’s), business women-all work no play, hateful women- can I buy you and drink? and her response is why, I got my own what I need you for? Strong women-a woman who can take a licking and keep on ticking, religious women- always quoting the Word but always seems to forget it’s true meaning, evil women-a woman always plotting and scheming, and women who put on airs- fake ass women pretending to have it all and don’t have anything. Oh, and trust me there are so many others that we will talk about in other chapters. ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, LETS GO!

CHAPTER TWO

RELIGIOUS WOMEN

Our religious women, these girls don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t curse’ and don’t have sex. You know these girls who pretend to be holier than thou. Now, don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with being Holy Ghost filled, water baptized, Jesus on mind and I got a new life type of woman. You don’t have to stress it let your light shine naturally, if you are as anointed as claimed to be, the Holy Spirit will shine through without you announcing it to the world. A true Christian woman automatically is a reflection of God. What most of them fail to realize is Jesus was never loud, boisterous, proud, or much less obnoxious. In public they show you this virtuous woman proclaiming that they love the Lord and follow his words to the fullest. However, most of these same women get behind closed doors and begin talking about their congregation and being very judgmental. Not to mention how they have great difficulty following the ‘Word’ when no one is watching. These same females enjoy gossiping and looking down on others, especially to say, ‘You know that happen to Brianna because she is always back sliding’ I cannot recall a single time in the bible Jesus said ‘thou shall judge thy fellow man and the gates of heaven shall be yours’’

These beautiful confused ‘holy ‘women always manage to tell others how to live, when they themselves don’t have a clue. Here is a perfect example; my friend has a sister in law whose name we’ll say is Shelia for the sake of this book. This woman loves to proclaim her faith and devotion to the Lord, but when no one is watching, other than her children and the Lord (obviously she doesn’t think he sees her), she will sneak off to smoke a Blunt. No I didn’t say a joint, or a doobie but a big bad fat BLUNT. I don’t recall Jesus breaking bread, wine, and weed on any given day. My, my, what a holy woman! Then, her beautiful excuse is oh it’s just an herb God put it on this earth for a reason, he also created carbon monoxide but you don’t see use inhaling that. Here is another great excuse, weed has never killed anybody. Funny neither has poison ivy but you don’t see anybody playing with it. Oh, here’s her cute little name for weed ‘my medicine’. Shelia loves to say, ‘these kids are driving me crazy I need some medicine’. The medicine is more than likely how she got most of her kids anyway because she was so dysfunctional she forgot to use protection, did I mention she has six kids, four abortions, and NOT LEGALLY MARRIED, just shacking up but SHE IS RELIGIOUS? Oh how I have enjoyed laughing my ass off at her. This woman loves to preach you shouldn’t have sex while you are still a teenager, but she had her first two kids when she was still just a teenager herself, can someone say hallelujah?!

CHAPTER THREE

BUSINESS WOMEN

We have those business women who are on top getting the job done. The deal is signed on the dotted line and closed at the end of the day. She is all about the business; she is idealistic, witty, contained, disciplined, and mindful of her daily task. She strives in leadership and demands completion on all her endeavors. She is sensitive on touchy situations and firm on demanding ones. She knows when to be (red) which is top notched or (yellow) which is mellow.

Business women are those who are aggressive in all matters. If it is just about having a party she will plan it till the end, making sure that every little detail is reviewed and executed to perfection. A business woman has a plan, and she uses it to her advantage. She knows what measures to take to get what she wants, and she uses them all to her benefit. She is focused and not easily distracted. She may have her relaxed moments to ease her tensions, and once her relief has taken place it’s back to business.

Shawntie, I love this hustling business woman. This woman can make a dollar off trash. Her philosophy is one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This woman use to go around picking up tables, chairs, stoves, refrigerators, whatever she could see potential in, left out for trash. She would wash it off, mend what she could, paint it and pass it off as rustic or vintage furniture. She found that with old appliances if they looked good enough she could have them repaired and sale them at garage sales, the really ugly ones could be sold off for scrap metal. This woman got so good at making money with undesirable things that she began investing her money in ugly homes, making them beautiful for an obscene amount of money.

The business woman is the pursuer, the over achiever; if she is selling purses, clothes, books or whatever, she will take the necessary steps to get them sold. She won’t stop or settle for less. She knows that there is someone, somewhere interested in what she has to offer so there are no exceptions to the rules, it’s all about the win. She knows how to balance family, cooking, cleaning, and all her household duties along with her business. She is never detoured. Go business woman!

A business woman will take what little money she has and take a chance on herself when trying to start a self-motivated business investment. She will map out any necessary routes in order to get her business up and going. She will consult with other self-made business owners to get as much information as possible to help her business be a success.

The business woman knows that you must start at the bottom in order to reach the top. This does not discourage her least bit, because she is certain that this is only a minor stepping stone. She knows her ultimate goals will be achieved.

The business woman had always been a role model for other women to look up to for encouragement. She is a dynamic force, and will stop at nothing until she reaches her accomplishments. Her witty ways and her aggression has pushed other women further to try and be an exact replica of her or even better. Her strong leadership will always be watched and appreciated, and most of all duplicated. That is why we love her so, because she is definitely an inspiration to all women. Thanks business woman!

CHAPTER FOUR

A MOTHER’S CHOICE

Women stop putting men before your children. As a result you have molestations, runaways, child abuse, teen age drug abuse, gang banging, mental problems, and etc. Your children are depending on you to make good choices that will have a positive impact on their future. Just because he was a good candidate for your bed, doesn’t mean that he was a proper father figure or role model for your children.

For example, I had a friend who loved to party. We will just call her Carole. Carole had a pre-teen age daughter that she often left at home with her boyfriend. Each time that we would go out I would ask Carole if she was dropping off her daughter at her mom’s or at her sister’s house. Her response would be Girl, Robert loves her, he gives her the world. Two years later her daughter becomes pregnant and there is no baby’s father to be announced. Carole’s boyfriend then moves to Austin. Heads are turning. Questions are being asked and who is the baby’s father? Till this day no father has been announced and Carole’s boyfriend doesn’t return. In my opinion Carole’s boyfriend fathered her daughter’s baby. The child looks identical to him but, of course Carole swept that dark secret up under a rug.

Ladies, whatever happened to the women who had enough self-respect that they wouldn’t even allow their children to see them with several different men? It is a learned behavior. If that is what you are showing your children, then that’s what they learn. It’s okay to be alone until Mr. Right comes along and earns the privilege of meeting your children and being a part of their lives. Until then a mother should be devoted to her children without any man taking her attention away from them who need it most.

Now ladies I know that we are all guilty of wanting love. All women want a perfect relationship, perfect marriage or perfect family. Some things are worth waiting
