    Being the Other Woman

My first kiss was with a married man.

My first time was with a married man.

My first everything was with a man who wasn’t mine.

    I was a Mistress before I was a girlfriend.

It all started after I had just turned 21 and moved out on my own and into the big city. I had to secure myself something so I could keep myself on my feet. I wasn’t intending on going full career at this particular hotel, but I did intend on staying long enough to gain enough experience should I ever find something even better elsewhere. I had every intention of moving up the ladder until I reached the last wrung.

When I stepped inside the quaint lobby of the hotel it was nearly 4 in the afternoon and the second shift had already begun. A frantic little man
