    Day One

    Do You Favor Your Father:

As a newborn, each of us received those typical looks of comparison. Family and friends were determining who the new baby resembled more. They searched our eyes for clues, while some took it as far as fingers and toes. As time progressed and we became responsible of our own sins, those looks became looks of judgement. People watching to see if our behaviors resemble God the Father, is typical behavior for Christians and non-believers. The Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23 are identified as nine favoring characteristics of Christ, that we must have implemented in our being to resemble God in any way. Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control each assures that the Holy Spirit that resides in us is enjoying the supernatural pleasantries our Father has gifted us. While living life through the spirit of the Father, our resemblance of Him becomes obvious.

It's more important to favor God than it is our earthly parents, for they were just vessels used to guarantee our arrival. While on earth, those nine fruits will keep us aligned with God's authenticity and gracefully extend positivity to others as well. God’s spirit will also provide clarity and discernment in times of trouble. The Fruit of the Spirit is not limited. Its power is readily available to do exceedingly more than man can do alone. Do not restrain the Holy Spirit, 1 Thessalonians 5:19. The next time you're reminded of who you did or did not favor as a child, remember the Fruit of the Spirit and convey with all confidence that one’s physical attributes won't get them into the places that you're striving to go! One’s eye shape won't gain them favor and the opportunity to one day see the King of Kings. One’s forehead won't cause grace to rest upon them, yet it’s the Living Word that resides in their mind, that’s the tool that will! Loving unconditionally, being gentle when regarding the shortcomings of others, bringing peace upon your arrival, displaying useful joy before the burdened and etc. are key in families and our communities. It sends a magnetic signal to our fruitful relatives, even those unaware of their fruits. It’s great to be a family member of the King!

Ask yourself, what Father do I Favor? Will I hang onto past hurt or practice kindness? Will I indulge in reckless behavior or will I practice self-control? Or better yet, will I continue to engage in the dramatics of others, or will I invite them into the witnessing of my peace? Who do you Favor?

    Ministry Minute:

    1) When is it important to remove yourself from family familiarity?

    2) How have your grown/ How would you like to grow by using the Fruit of the Spirit?

    Fact Finding:

    Galatians 5:22-23

    Thessalonians 5:19

Lord God in Heaven remove every demonic assassination that’s been sent to distract me from by purpose, in you. I renounce a spiritual divorce from any familiar being that serves my life no good. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

    Day Two

    Distracted by Emotions:

Emotional beings can relate to how easy it is to be swayed by emotions, especially those emotions that are a result of disappointment, betrayal, rejection and or etc. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:2, Do not be confirmed to the world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Because there will be those experiences that aren’t as joyous as others, we must be able to adapt by renewing our minds to have an attitude of positivity as an escape. We must know that it’s okay to have no feelings about those things that we can’t change, if we want to live in peace. Seasons of harvest will come just as seasons of hard times, but your emotions can delay your exiting one and entering the other. Being trapped by negative thoughts causes us to lose focus
