    37421.png Day 1

I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. Romans 7:15 NLT

Good news and then the bad news. Sigh… And then someone shares their great news. They got a wonderful job, girlfriend/boyfriend, a raise, the lottery, physical healing. Not for you. Here you still are wanting to be happy for them, but your feelings get in the way. Yep. I want to do what’s right and so I do, with great stretching of the spirit. But the pain, resentment, and fear are still there within me.

Take it to Him. One feels guilty asking the Creator- of -all, why? Why did my loved one die and theirs was healed? Why did I get overlooked for the promotion, praise, love? I want to do what’s right and so I do the best I can with your help. But the feeling of being short-changed by my Father is still with me. Then the thoughts of working harder, praying harder, studying harder enter my mind because that’s how the world works. But not God. He sees everything and knows what is good for us and what is good for another. We are not God. We do not see everything in another’s life. Don’t compare. I guarantee if you compare, you’ll always come up short.

So, ask Him to reveal all that is
