About the Authors

Lance Bilbrew has worked in the insurance industry for nearly two decades. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a Master of Business Administration. He is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and he has volunteered with various entities.

Demetria Bilbrew is a multi-passionate, lifelong learner who specializes in helping others advance spiritually, professionally, and personally. She is the founder of Praying Wives Tribe, a global community of wives who encourage and support each other; while seeking God on behalf of our husbands, families, and fellow tribe members. The group’s overarching philosophy is that wives must continuously fill themselves to support their husbands from a position of fulfillment. She is called to assist wives through prayer and inspiration.

Professionally, she has held sales, training, and management roles throughout the technology and insurance industries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Human Resource Management degree. Volunteering is one of Demetria’s favorite pastimes. She has generously given her time to various professional and non-profit organizations.

When asked about the topic she could talk about for hours, Demetria would emphatically respond, relationships. She enjoys sharing the wisdom she has gained throughout various good and not-so-good, friendships, and human experiences.

Lance and Demetria met in graduate school, and they have been married for 10 years. They are passionate about helping Christians build, maintain, and enjoy healthy love connections through God. They have one son. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling and reading.
