When my cousin asked me to help her author her testimony, I was humbled beyond words. Although we took different paths in lives, it was the foundation of generations past that taught our parents to teach and instill in us God’s grace and mercy. They kept us grounded in faith throughout our childhood and well into adulthood until we claimed it for ourselves. Now we are tasked to do the same for the next generations of the Cade/Brooks legacy.
I am proud that Jackie was courageous enough to tell her story, her testimony. May her words continue to build her ministry and goals in healing those who have been in similar situations such as hers.

Ephesians 2:8
This is my story. Mine to own and mine to tell. Drug addiction is different for everyone who struggles with it. I am no exception. No one tells you just how far down the rabbit hole you’ll go until you find yourself bounded so deep that the only way out is salvation or death. This is my story about that fall and my redemption. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: the gift of God.
Through God’s grace and mercy, I survived it. For it was Him who kept me, who uplifted me, who walked with me even as I roamed the streets desiring everything
