As a child, I often wondered why my mother and father did not stay married. Was it the other woman? Was my mom not a good home maker? What was it? The question of why only intensified as I observed other relationships begin, end, and last.

Friends of mine had fathers and mothers. But why them and not me? Some of their moms were not as pretty as my mother. As a matter of fact, some of them were rude, loud, and even lewd women.
