A Telling Bee is something like a Spelling Bee. Except, instead of getting up in front of an audience to try spelling words, you tell funny jokes. Or riddles. Or short poems. You’ll find plenty of them in this book!
It’s just that simple!
Are there any prizes?
There can be, if the organizers of your Telling Bee choose to give out some prizes. Even if there aren’t any prizes, everyone wins! They get to hear lots of good jokes and tricky riddles and funny poems.
AND everyone who tells them gets practice in being up on stage, being funny and getting applause!
