Introduction
As we welcome the year 2021, we all have been going through a pandemic that has disrupted our daily routines. Covid-19 has literally changed our lives. Yet even while we are waiting for the pandemic to get under control, there are steps we can take to keep our bodies healthy.
One of those important steps is exercise. In fact, we need to exercise every day to keep the muscles in our entire body vigorous and prevent their atrophying. Exercise also helps us maintain a normal metabolism to better process the foods we eat. This is a strong preventive measure to avoid developing metabolic syndrome. A combination of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, abdominal body fat, and abnormal cholesterol levels might be indicators of metabolic syndrome. And they can lead to heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
