My job was not to be scared, not to be overwhelmed, or to fear what this place would do to my salvation. I had information to gather and to bring back to the people; that was all I was there for. Fear, dread, and terror would just lead me back into their hands; that was their trap, it was always their trap, and I was not going to be led by the hand of the accuser. I did not fear the devil and his demons; I feared the one who sent me to this place. I feared my Father with respect, reverence, and awe. I would say yes to anything He commanded, as His yes to me saved my soul.

 

God had wrapped a red brassard around my arm and sent me into the enemy's camp. I was not there to attack the enemy, but to learn from him. I was there to watch, listen, and learn, so I could expose, uncover, and report. I was not invisible to the devil; he could see me and know me, but he still went forward with his divisive plan to annihilate the children of God. He did not care for my presence; he only cared for his own. There in his camp, I took the notes I needed to come back and write this book. I learnt his tricks, his voice, his ways, and his strategies; how he attacks, how he separates, and how he devours. But despite his attempts to kill, steal, and destroy, the truth still stands - he is a defeated foe, acting from a place of dismissal from God. He holds no authority over children of God here on the earth, so stand in the truth of your authority of God. The truths are in this book, as are satan's strategies against them. Learn his ways, and know the truth, and you will rise as a conqueror, just as Christ has made you in Him.

INTRODUCTION

On 31st October 2013 I found myself in America pursuing the dream to work in women’s ministry, but on that day, God was saying something completely different.

He said, ‘I want you to start writing books.’

I had never written a book in my life or even saw myself as a writer, but in my heart, I already had 19 outlines and titles for books that the Holy Spirit had been talking to me about.

I asked God, ‘How do I write 19 books?’

And His answer was, ‘Just start!’

So, I went to my local coffee shop and put pen to paper. The books seemed to come together really quickly and soon I had completed one, then two, then three, and I got to be the first recipient of a book that I didn’t even remember writing. Upon reading it, it seemed as if I was reading it for the very first time, and every book has been like that since.

Red Armed Raider is a book to bring awareness to the Body of Christ with regards to spiritual warfare, the strategies of the enemy, and our authority in God. As Christ made a public spectacle of satan through His triumph on the cross, in this story, we make a spectacle of him once again by revealing everything he wants to stay hidden. Receive the truth of God’s Word through the pages of this book, and learn the authority that you have in Him. The devil has already been defeated through the victorious power of Jesus; live in that victory, continue to pursue God, and watch the devil flee.

Chapter 1

THE SCARLET CLOTH

In an open vision, I remember God tying a piece of red cloth around my arm. I was bewildered in front of Him, not knowing what He was doing. I had no idea what this cloth was for, or what it symbolised. His eyes were serious as He tied it with such purpose and intention around my arm. I knew I would not be able to remove it without His say so, so I just stood, surrendered in front of my Father.

But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8 (ESV)

I felt like he was sending me somewhere I would not want to go. It reminded me of when a parent dresses their child for the first day of school, and the child desperately doesn’t want to go. The parent doesn’t want it either, but it is necessary for the child’s growth and for them to learn - it has to be done.

For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of his faithful love. And when he draws you to himself, it proves you are his delightful child. Hebrews 12:6 (TPT)

I could feel something weird between us; He was emotionless, which wasn’t normal. He was just focused on tying the material around my arm, getting me ready, and sending me out. It was more about preparation, than it was emotion. He needed me to see that He was fine with this and not emotional for my departure. He seemed less like my Father and more like my commanding officer. Whatever I was embarking on would not be as His child, but as His soldier.

Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One. For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him. 2 Timothy 2:3-4 (TPT)

Where was He sending me? What was I to do? I was being commissioned for a mission that I did not yet understand; my part so far was just to say yes, and not fight the deployment.

So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Psalm 32:9 (TPT)

I was His, and He could do whatever He wanted with me. I was free and willing to be sent anywhere He designated me to be.

Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. Psalm 139:10 (TPT)
