INTRODUCTION

The Holy Spirit gave me this book to inform God’s people and the world that there is a real devil.

Satan is deceptive. He doesn’t want the world and the church of God to know that he exists, so he comes incognito and hides himself behind the curtains and in the shadows, orchestrating and moving furniture and characters around on the gigantic stage of life. He does so in his role as chief stage conductor or god of this world. If Satan keeps himself hidden, he can more effectively perform his work. Therefore, he has mastered (behind the curtains) the art of masking himself in the cloak of anonymity.

There are highly educated people, such as writers, doctors, professors, lawyers and scientists, and other common everyday folks who don’t believe in the existence of a real devil. But believe me, my friend, Satan is real. The devil does exist. I’m writing this book to make you aware of this fact. I will give you proof from the word of God that the devil is alive and well on planet earth. Some preachers or so-called men of the cloth will tell you that Satan doesn’t exit. Clog your ears, run, and don’t hear them!

People of the earth, whether you believe it or not, the devil is real. But he doesn’t come wearing a red suit, dangling a long tail with horns on his head, and holding a pitch folk in his hands. He’s much subtler than that.

He comes in a phone call, a handshake, or advice from a friend … or in the seductive smile of a neighbor. He comes in a thought or a suggestion. He comes in the comradeship of a peer. He comes with an offering of cake and candy … and with gold and silver. But be wise, my friend, and don’t accept his goods. For our Lord Jesus Christ has informed us of his real motives. The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy (John 10:10 KJV).

The purpose of this book, Exposing the Devil, is not to cause you to fear or to look for a devil behind every bush. It is, however, intended to make you attentively aware that there are sinister forces on this planet that are trying to destroy you. The most important purpose of this book is to inform you that there is help. You have hope.

Approximately two thousand years ago, God sent His Son to the earth to suffer and die for the sins of the human race. If you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you can escape the diabolical plots and snares of the Evil One.

Exposing the Devil will take you through the word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, and let you see Satan as he really is. As you read this book, you will not only observe his rise but also witness his fall. You will learn how the devil originated and watch and observe, as you turn the pages, his predestined and tragic end. You will also learn, by reading this book, some tactics and strategies Satan uses to deceive the world and immobilize and hinder the people of God.

A child of God doesn’t need to live a mundane or defeated lifestyle. Jesus Christ has paid the price for each of His children to live a life overflowing in abundance of victory and supernatural joy. As a child of God, no weapon formed against you can prosper when you know who you are, believe God, and walk in the integrity of His word.

I’m not boasting in myself as coauthor of this book but giving all glory to God; I know of no other book that has, through the supernatural binoculars of God’s word, peeped into the invisible realms of heaven and hell, and painted a more accurate portrait of the reality of Satan and his cohorts like this book.

Read this book prayerfully and with an open heart. You will be blessed, and you will enjoy it.
