Living with the Nephilim the Seed of Destruction - V. Bryan
Chapter 1
Time is Short!
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37 NIV
We see and hear reports of war with rumors of more as violence, murder and mass slaying of innocence people fill the news. Even with this, the rise of evil has yet to reach its peak. What about the lonely who fall to seduction, only to find themselves lonely once again, left behind to debt, emotional wounds, and a youngster to raise alone. How about the missing loved one never to be heard from again, or those sexually abused by one so close to them. Let’s not forget those society would like to trust, like politicians, sports directors, clergy, or anyone else about our everyday lives. All over the world pain and suffering must be endured at the hands of those with an appetite for more. Their appearance may not ring an alarm, but beneath the surface, another dimension rules these evil ones.
In my dream, the sun would shine only a few more hours, then darkness of night would fall. Of importance, the remaining light filtered over a place of cleansing and restoration. Soiled garments must be washed before use. Clothing’s first provision came from God after Adam and Eve sinned. The blood of an innocent animal covered their sin, and its hide their bodies. The light filtered from the right, and to the right His sheep are gathered.
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Matthew 25:33 KLV
The day is almost over. God wants us to know, A new day is coming; but there is time to be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb of God.
Pressed upon my spirit, I knew to pen a warning for those who would listen: time is running out.
The Nephilim will not someday be in our mist; headline news confirms their presence. We must be armed with knowledge to recognize Nephilim in our everyday lives. In this book I go back to Creation and work forward to ensure a sound foundation of truth from the Word of God. Read a little, put it down, but pick it up again and finish to be prepared for what lies ahead.
Chapter 2
Back to the Beginning
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Hebrews 11:3
Humans touch two realms, the physical and spiritual, with a natural interaction with both. Our eyes function to give us sight in the physical world but do not see the supernatural reality about us. None-the-less, the unseen world exists. How do we know? Because the written Word of God gives us His testimony; our invisible God (a Spirit) spoke the physical world into existence. As humans we connect with the natural world through our five senses and must rely on God’s written Word (Holy Bible) to gain knowledge about the spirit world we cannot see. Both dimensions (physical and spirit realms) interact and coexist at the same time. We cannot see the wind but experience the effects of a strong gust or a gentle breeze. The spirit realm functions in a similar way with the physical world. To understand the Nephilim, we must also grasp how the spirit realm affects our physical world on an ongoing basis.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20
Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, or Pentateuch, leaving an account of God’s dealings with mankind. In order to discern the Nephilim, we will go back to creation and work forward to understand how we got here.
1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. God said, Let there be light,
and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.5 God called the light day,
and the darkness he called night.
And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day….
God created everything needed for life on earth, which included living creatures and then man.
26 Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.
…
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
Formless, empty, and in darkness describe the now
condition of earth in verse 2 of Genesis Chapter 1. The Spirit of God hovered and waited for the Word of God’s release to bring order into chaos. God said
and it came into existence with one exception (Genesis 1:3-31).
7 The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 1:1-5, 26-28, 31; 2:7
God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed breath of life into his nostrils (Genesis 2:7). Formed,
in Hebrew yatsar, means through the squeezing into shape.¹ Man’s creation came about by the hand of God, a significant point to remember when understanding the Nephilim. God saw all he made including man and declared it very good!
May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Thessalonians 5:23b
As One Triune God, He consists as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Triune as well, each human consists of a spirit, with a soul that dwells in a physical body. God established man’s world and gave him commands to ensure success and authority to rule it. For example, Adam made the decision on names for each living creature, and whatever Adam decided became their names (Genesis 2:19).
28 God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.
Genesis 1:28
Chapter 3
God’s Heart for Man
8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 15And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Genesis 2:8-9; 15-17 KJ
Life surely abounded for both Adam and Eve as they enjoyed peace and surroundings of splendor with God’s presence in an ongoing relationship of spiritual unity. Adam and Eve’s garden home consisted of not just one tree, but every tree pleasing to the eyes and good for food. God’s provision for man consisted of a place to call home, food in ample supply, beautiful surroundings, work for his hands, and a wife to make a family. In this pre-sin state, God’s glory manifest in all their lives demonstrating his goodness and intent for mankind’s existence on earth. God demonstrated his call to the individual by forming one Adam and giving him full freedom to live and accomplish his tasks according to the guidelines God set. When God brought Eve from Adam’s side, God continued to relate not only with the individual but to both.
Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. Genesis 2:19
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden (Genesis 3:8 KJ).
The word for garden in Genesis 2:15, ganan, means a garden enclosure, like a fence. Interestingly, the garden God planted in Eden happened to be a defensive structure for Adam and Eve. The root word for garden is ganan, to defend, cover, and surround. It was always used to show God’s protection as a covering.² Freedom to eat fruit from the vast variety in the garden sounds pretty good, but Adam and Eve must not eat from one particular tree, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Two trees in the middle of the garden symbolized two different choices for the people on earth.
One tree brought forth fruit of an ongoing life in union with God; the second tree’s fruit produced separation from God and death. The tree of life stood to remind Adam and Eve of the life they enjoyed, given and sustained by God. In a state of obedience, they could partake of any fruit in the garden, but one, including the tree of life at this point. The forbidden fruit, the only could not
command given them by God, would prove fatal if ignored. Adam and Eve must be tested. God revealed himself. They must know His ways, spoken and demonstrated, to pass the test. In the New Testament Jesus spoke, If anyone loves God, they will obey His command.
(John 14:15) Did they love him? God gave mankind freedom to make this choice.
If you love me, you will obey what I command. John 14:15
Along with the structure of the garden and a direct command to avoid death, Don’t eat that fruit!
(Genesis 2:17) Adam’s job to tend, guard, and keep the garden should have kept him vigilant. 15And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. Genesis 2:15 Amplified Bible
A guard also describes one of Eve’s job descriptions in aide to her husband. As his wife, Eve worked with Adam in what God called them together to accomplish. Eve, as well as Adam, played a part in guarding, tending, and keeping the garden..
The LORD God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.
Genesis 2:18
God’s protection was clear. Adam did not need to fall. All he needed to do was keep God’s command. We may criticize Adam and Eve or even be angry at their failure in the garden, but a closer look will help us understand just what they were up against.
20My son, pay attention to what I say, listen closely to my words.21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body. 23Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:20-23
Chapter 4
An Angel Problem
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. Isaiah 14:14 Amplified Bible
Why would God put Adam and Eve in a garden with the tree of life and knowledge of good and evil? I believe God created the first heaven and earth with the second heaven and earth in mind. Why? God had an angel problem.
13But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. 2 Peter 3:13
Remember, Genesis 1:31a, God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.
Angels, created by God, came under this declaration.
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. Genesis 2:1
Angels as well as mankind are spoken of in scripture as God’s elect.
Elect angels serve God as He originally intended and continue to do even now.
I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism. 1Timothy 5:17
And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens. Mark 13:27
God created different types of angels in various ranks and positions of authority (Ephesians 6:12): arch angels, cherubim, seraphim, and watcher or guardian angels.
Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. Isaiah 6: 2
"This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers and the decision is a command of the holy ones… Daniel 4:17a NASB
Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. Daniel 10:13b NLT
Not all angels remain as God’s elect; not all men are God’s elect either. When once holy angels sinned, they became fallen angels, rejected by God.
"Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41
This angel problem began with one angel, an anointed cherub, called Lucifer. As a class of angel, cherubim overshadow God’s throne in heaven (Ezekiel 28:14) and stretched over the Ark of the Covenant in the Tent of Meeting (Exodus, chapters 25-27).
"O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. Isaiah 37:16
Cherubim also happen to be the type of angel sent to remove Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, keeping them from the tree of life. (Genesis 3:24).
²⁴ After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:24
Oh how God fashioned this guardian cherubim, a spectacular sight: radiating beams of light, sparkling in glorious color from every precious stone set in gold (Ezekiel 28:13). Filled, then sealed with the sum of God given wisdom and beauty, it seems God found no problem with this cherub until iniquity came forth from the depth of
