Curb Your Mierda! - Crystal Pressley
PART ONE:
EMPTY THE TRASH!
Your BAGGAGE IS WEIGHING YOU DOWN!
Ok now let’s start by examining the facts. You just have way too much unnecessary weight on your shoulders. This baggage is slowing you down from being able to take the first step toward a happy and successful life. Have you ever heard that song Bag Lady
by the gifted and talented Erykah Badu? She could not have said it better. You need to let go of all those things that serve you no purpose or benefit.
There are many different forms of baggage. It can come in the form of a past failed relationship, a bad habit, taking on other people’s problems, a drug or sex addiction, a food obsession, stress and so many other issues that keep us imprisoned in our own minds. You simply have too much stuff going on! You continue to overload your mind and emotions with things that will never benefit you in the future. For example, you have a wardrobe filled to capacity with clothes. If you shove just one more shirt in that closet, the bar will snap in half. Or maybe you are so stressed out because you can’t afford your car note this month because you gave a friend a $400 loan until they get their next paycheck. It is time to stop and think rationally. To get to the place you are trying to go, you cannot be a people pleaser. You must learn to look out for yourself because you are the only person who can bring you to the happy and wealthy lifestyle you seek.
Take the first step to a better tomorrow. I challenge you right now to empty the trash in your life that is keeping your mind cluttered and preventing you from thinking clearly. Look in your shoe collection. Those shoes from 7 years ago that have the front flap peeled back from too many wears, throw them away! That two car garage at home that has been turned into your junk storage, clean it up! That man that you’ve been chasing around that continues to tell you he has moved on to a life with a new woman, let him go! Crowded space in our homes, minds and spirits is one of the leading causes of stress. When things are organized and easy to find, it tends to leave you feeling refreshed, joyful and confident. Search through your cabinets, your car, your house, your place of employment, that coat you haven’t worn in five winters or whatever it is. Again, if it is not serving you any purpose, being used or bettering your life then just let it go!
I will be the
