    Hope

    Hope… Funny thing isn’t it

Four lonely letters that mean the world to some people

    And mean nothing to others

Many people don’t think it exists

Think it’s just a figment created to stop them from being enveloped by depression

But others lives revolve around it

They ‘hope’ that everything will turn out the way it is supposed to

They ‘hope’ that people who wrong them will get their penance

They ‘hope’ that their future holds something bright

They are filled with so much ‘hope’

So what if it their wishes will never come true

They’ll continue hoping until the day the die

And maybe that’s a good thing

To have something to hold on to when your entire world seems to be crumbling down

    That one shred
