Life, as Seen Through Her Introverted Eyes

About this ebook
This is Epiphany Z. Crush's seventh published and her second poetry book. In Life, as Seen Through Her Introverted Eyes, Epiphany delves deeper into matters of the heart as she talks about everyday life experiences that we are often faced with- including current social issues and romantic relationships- spoken from an introvert's perspective. She takes her readers on an interesting voyage filled with love, growth, pain, honesty, strength, joy, spirituality, and hope. One of the biggest messages that permeates throughout this book is: Love yourself and make self-care a priority! Through Epiphany's poetry and prose, she conveys the emotions that people sometimes struggle with putting into words. She bares her soul like never before and in doing so, she hopes to inspire, shed light, uplift, and entertain her readers.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a love for words and literature! I have such vivid memories of playing Scrabble and of going to the library to check out tons of books on Saturday mornings. As an adult, I aspire to make both children and adults feel as I still do about books and literacy. I've been writing since age ten- dreaming of one day being able to share my writing with the world. Currently, I have eight published books: The Sky is the Limit (children’s) and Love, Heartbreaks, Epiphanies, and Joy (adult poetry collection), Extra 'Nessa (children's), Wake-up Call (YA novelette), Highway to Heaven (YA novel), Conversations in the Midnight Hour: A Journal with Scriptures of Wisdom and Consolation (YA nonfiction), Life, as Seen Through Her Introverted Eyes: A Collection of Poetry & Prose (YA poetry book), and The Repayment Plan (adult fiction). Paperback copies of my books can be purchased on my website: epiphanysskyanddesign.com. I am the owner of an online bookstore/giftshop. If you want to stay connected with me, please follow me on

Life, as Seen Through Her Introverted Eyes - Epiphany Z. Crush
This book is dedicated to all the introverts in the world. You’re beautiful! Don’t let anyone change you. This book is also dedicated to my five blessed children. Thanks for listening to my poetry and for being one of my biggest inspirations! I love you. Last, but not least, I have to say thanks to my heavenly Father. I’d be nothing without you!

SECURITY
When you came into my life
I knew it wasn’t accidental.
You were a blessing in disguise.
To my life, you are instrumental.
You’re my king and I’m your queen.
Only tears of joy you bring.
You’re the only man for me.
People spend a lifetime chasing this.
How fortunate I am!
Nostalgic bliss.
You’re the only man for me.
You give me security.
I knew it wasn’t accidental.
To my life, you are instrumental.
UNSURE
I really want to love you,
but I gotta leave tonight.
My flight leaves out at five.
Selfishly, you say, Not right.
I really want to stay here
but this time I can’t comply.
If I don’t walk out this door,
my hopes and dreams will all die.
I really want to hold you
but sometimes we must let go.
Were we meant for just one season?
I’m unsure- in time we’ll know.
IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR
In the midnight hour
Who are you going to call?
Who will wipe away your tears?
Who will catch you when you fall?
In the midnight hour
What are you going to do?
Who will give you sound advice
When it’s just your thoughts and you?
In the midnight hour
Where are you going to run?
Who will catch you in their arms?
Who will keep you safe from harm?
When your friends decrease to none?
When family gets taken by covid-one?
When the trials have begun?
When quarantining ain’t no fun?
When he hits it and then runs?
When she cheats with Chris and John?
When your days are cloudy and glum?
When your stimulus funds are gone?
When nobody’s answering their telephone?
When anxiety gets the best of you?
No weed to smoke.
What do you do?
I know a man who will take care of you.
He specializes in healing.
He will make you feel brand new.
He has been trying to get your attention.
He wants to rid you of hypertension.
He wants to fill the void in your heart.
He always loved you from the start.
Call on Him!
It’s guaranteed.
Jesus is all the man you need.
BIPOLAR LOVE
Bipolar love!
There’s never any balance.
It’s so hard to be romantic
On a bed made of malice.
A union known to pop
At any given moment;
Where voices rarely speak;
Toxicity every week.
Oh, bipolar love!
I wish I could predict
Your moods day to day
And have
