Chapter One: Pleasure and Wanting

My wife and I walk up and down the aisles as we carry out our once-a-week grocery shopping trip at the local supermarket. We have had a relaxing weekend to ourselves and even enjoyed dining out last night at one of our favorite restaurants. It is hard to imagine having so much peace with Tonya before now.

You are beautiful, I say to her as we stop in the cereal aisle and pick out our favorite breakfast foods.

Tonya looks at me and smiles. Russ, that’s so sweet of you to say. I don’t believe you, though. I don’t even have all of my makeup on this morning.

Shrugging my shoulders, I reply, What does that matter? You have a lot of natural beauty, honey. You know that. I pull her petite body close to me and we kiss for a moment, our tongues dancing along in each other’s mouths.

My wife pulls back. Russ, we are in a supermarket at nine o’clock in the morning. Someone will see us if we don’t cool down. She giggles as she puts her choice of cereal into the shopping cart.

Look, I’m sorry. We just can’t do this here right now. I’ll give you what you want when we get back home, Russ. We begin to walk down the aisle again as I shake my head. I become quiet and after a while Tonya asks me about this. Are you sulking?

I’m not sulking, I tell her as I reach for something on a shelf. I’m good, honey. Let’s just get this shopping trip over.

My wife sighs. Look, I didn’t mean to be so curt with you, but you have to stop acting like a little boy in a candy store all the time. There is a place for all this and the supermarket is not it.

But you did things like that with Marcus, I reply as I turn around to face her. Several times, if I remember what you have told me correctly.

She nods her head. I did, Russ. Sometimes it was a little embarrassing then, too. Don’t forget that I gave you a blow job under a dining table in a restaurant a couple of months ago.
