(Excerpts from #3 – The Deadly Sinner)
When a man named Arif falls off his apartment building and dies, Detective Raunak Sharma begins investigating the case thoroughly, even though it appears like a suicide. It is revealed during investigation that the victim had been an ethical hacker, who hacked into hospital systems and collected evidences of the crimes taking place inside the hospital. Some of the crimes included organ scams, medical murders, female foeticides, abuse of patients, and veiling high end murders by giving post-mortem reports as suicide, and many more. The victim, Arif, used to blackmail the hospital using these evidences, emailing them through an anonymous untraceable account, asking them to come clean with their crimes.
Raunak narrows down the hospital which Arif had blackmailed just before his death – a high-end hospital named ‘Livelong’, which is known for its ruthless practices. Suspecting that the hospital owner might have had something to do with Arif’s murder, Raunak brings him in for questioning. After long hours, he confesses that he was the master-mind behind Arif’s murder. But he also mentions that he didn’t do it himself, but in fact, hired an assassin to execute the murder. But he refuses to reveal the name of the assassin.

The man nodded.

said Raunak. Why did he accept the assassination?
He asked me who would handle this case after the murder. I said it was you. And that’s when he accepted our proposal,
said Vimal, wiping sweat off his face. "He said
