    -  and lastly a dozen popular, domestic TV commercial making Chimpanzees dressed in human clothes that have been given special celebrity residents at the local city Zoo.

In the trinket shop, there are numerous stuffed dolls, mugs and novelties which reflect most of the Zoo animals. Pictures of each cute celebrity Chimp align the upper walls. It looks just like Movie Star posters at the theater.  Twelve chimp commercial TV posters align the shop walls.

Outside the Zoo office on a side street, stands a midsize yellow school bus waiting for twelve new occupants to be transported away this day.

Just outside the grounds, TWELVE (12) CHIMPS waddle out from the side door of the Zoo Administration Building and into a mid-sized, yellow school bus. Each pair of the chips hold hands. The dozen primates cross the sidewalk just like good little children do every morning at a bus stop when headed to school. It is a sight tosee.

A young reporter, JAKE, stands by holding a smart phone camera. He snaps two shots of each pair of well-dressed, celebrity chimps. Lastly. He snaps a shot of the Zookeeper, MAXWELL MANN.

Jake peers into the bus, turns and says, It was nice of you to send them to a new Zoo in the next state. They should love the brand, new surroundings.  I saw pictures of the place on the news. Tell me a little about these chimpanzees, Mister Mann.  Something for the local news..

Maxwell Mann points at the bus. Jake, chimps are primates with feelings like humans They’ve been on earth about seven million years. The Pan-troglodytes come from central and West Africa. The others are Pan-Paniscus chimps, which come from the Congo. They all get along. They might live to forty in the wild but longer in captivity. They should live a good sixty-five years old. They’re all members of the Hominidae family of Apes, except for Apollo.  He’s a NASA chimp. Ha! If he hadn’t started smoking, he’d still be there I bet. He’s the one in a million chimp.

Reporter Jake Stein smiles, What exactly do you mean, Maxwell?  Why is Apollo special?

Most apes are five foot-four inches, but Apollo, the Astronaut Chimp, is five foot-six. Most chimps are sixty pounds, but Apollo is eighty pounds plus. He has, so the say scientists, a solid fourth grade IQ. So, that is why I call him the one in a million chimp. He’s got some smart brain. I’ve seen it for myself Jake.

How’s that?, says Jake, leaning on the yellow bus.

Maxell points at Apollo, who’s seated in the front row inside. For example, he makes his own bed. He, ah, pours milk and cereal in his own bowl and uses the toilet like a human as well. No other chimp in America can do that, Jake. Nope. He was trained to do a hundred tasks by those brilliant NASA space guys.

Jake turns to look at the yellow bus. The chimps are all seated and quiet, like good little children.  Apollo looks out the window and scratches his chin. He thinks back to the good old days when he worked for NASA.

Apollo’s eyes stare outward and a vision appears. We see an ASTRONAUT SMITH behind the wheel, steering his aircraft home after a long mission in space. Seated next to him is Apollo, the space chimp suited up in white with helmet in his lap. He turns his head to look out the small space capsule window and views a round, blue ball called earth.

Astronaut Smith reaches out and clicks a console button, This is the US WINDFALL. We are now approaching and angled at sixty-two degrees for re-entry. It’s a go. We’re right in line. We’re headed down to the ocean landing site. The space mission has so far been successful. My co-pilot chimp, Apollo Pitney, has been quite helpful. He was good company just as we all expected him to be.  Right partner? He’s putting his helmet on as we speak.  I better do the same, over.

Apollo places his helmet on, points at Smith. Smith winks and then places his helmet over his head and latches the side bars. Apollo gives the OK sign. Smith laughs and smacks Apollo’s knee.

Control Central cuts in, "You’re cleared to land. We have you on radar.  This is the most dangerous task you’ll face today guys.  Have a safe re-entry Astronauts Smith, Trump, Clinton and Apollo. - - - Over for
