PROLOGUE
Where did we come from, how did we get here and were we created or did we evolve? My humble attempt at an explanation is mostly conjecture. You be the judge of how the mysteries of The Number Three Planet (The Earth) from Hilos (The Sun) in The Milky Galaxy (The Milky Way) came to be. It is my contention that humans from the Universe visited (The Earth) and left behind telltale signs of their existence and their advanced technology including a pictorial alphabet. I further believe that our ancestors were human aliens implanted on (The Earth) from other planets scattered throughout the Universe. My story is not meant to be discriminatory, rather it is meant to be explanatory. My story does not contradict religious beliefs concerning creation, rather it enhances them. The Catholic Church reluctantly changed its belief that the Earth was the center of the Universe after the discoveries by Copernicus in the 1500s. And, the Vatican recently announced that there could be life on other planets. So, even though my story is science fiction, it may be closer to the truth than anyone could have imagined. Please enjoy my revisionist version of History as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
CHAPTER 1
REPTO
A pinkish gray haze permeates the morning sky as the workers load cylindrical capsules onto a disk-shaped space vehicle. The capsules are on a flatbed train car. Its tracks lead back into the production facility. There the capsules are being sealed once the large egg-shaped objects are carefully packed and loaded. The entire area is protected by an impenetrable wall of laser beams for this is the planet of the dinosaurs. The workers are on assignment from the planet Cosmiton.
One of the workers named Roho is a rather large and brawny fellow with a ruddy complexion and shortly cropped hair. He was a convicted petty thief and must spend half of his sentence on Repto. I wonder where this cargo ship is bound for?
he said gruffly. Does anyone know? Does anyone care?
Tali piped up, It’s for Number Three of the Hilos star system. Read the manifest, stupid.
Tali was a fair skinned tall and slender man with long stringy hair. He had been well educated but was unable to stay employed due to his quick temper and intimidating loud voice. So, he turned to an evil profession. He was known factiously as the Silent Assassin.
He was a convicted murderer who had worked for the underworld on Cosmiton, and he was sentenced to spend the rest of his life on Repto. They say their magma has cooled and the plants have grown enough for implantation.
Implantation, what’s that?
