PROLOGUE
So far, the Cosmiton Experiment had gone smoothly. The humanoid species had been implanted on Number Three Planet in the Hilos solar system. The Cosmiton Colony had been watching from above on the Planet Orio in the Hunter Constellation. Miracle had returned to Cosmiton from Masey with her son Empiracle. She would embark on her pet projects there while her son would attend the Cosmiton schools. A truce had been established throughout the Universe pending the results of the Cosmiton Experiment. The dinosaur-egg distribution projects continued for planet fertilization, but the humanoid implantation and the moon extraction projects were put on hold. Meanwhile, the Masey people had begun the exploration of their new galaxy. They would name it the Gola Galaxy
in honor of their leaders. What could possibly go wrong?
CHAPTER 1
ZOLU
How am I going to impregnate Zolu,
asked Manu? There is no way I can do it naturally.
You will have to do it the old-fashioned way, Manu,
laughingly replied Heta, the Ancient’s (Cosmiton’s) physician, artificial insemination.
Whew, that takes a load off my mind,
remarked Manu.
I have already devised a plan,
stated Heta. Zolu will have to lie down. Well, you get the idea.
Don’t say anymore,
returned Manu. I don’t want to know the details; I’m just the donor.
Yes, and you may have to do it more than once,
Heta continued. I want to make sure this works.
I can do that,
replied Manu.
And so it was, Zolu became pregnant. Heta watched her carefully until the ninth month. At that time she requested privacy because she wanted to deliver the offspring by herself. Her request was granted as long as she was accompanied by her hand-maiden, Seta. The other reason Zolu wanted privacy was because she thought she might have twins. Then she delivered a healthy baby girl she named Zela.
However, Zolu’s suspicions were confirmed. She also had a male offspring she would name Daga. She knew the Ancients (Cosmitons) would kill him, so she had Seta secret him off to the far-away mountains to the East. There he would be considered a god by the people of the Far East. Zolu explained that Seta went to visit relatives after her hand-maiden job was done. The Ancients were not concerned because they were so pleased with the success of the down-sizing experiment. Both Zela and Daga would grow to a height of 40 cubits or 120 feet tall.
Since Zolu’s job was completed, she was allowed to join Pema for more construction missions. Even though they had promised not to mate, natural instincts took over. They sneaked away several times to be intimate. As a result, they had two male off-springs that they would name Zuzu and Polu. They would grow to the same height as Pema, 80 cubits or 240 feet tall. They would have to live hidden from the Ancients. Zuzu stayed near the High Mountains to the West and Polu frequented the nearby Sea and lived on an isolated Island. Later in time, they would be considered as mythological giants.
When Zela reached puberty she was required to be impregnated by another Ancient named Heta II, the son of Heta the physician. Once again artificial insemination was used. She was watched carefully during her pregnancy by Heta and Heta II until the ninth
