Introduction
Human nature has its strengths and it has its weaknesses. It brings out the worst in all of us. But it also brings out the best as well. We experience love, hate, compassion, fear, courage, hurt, sadness, joy and sometimes even death. Often times, we find ourselves in situations when we face the inevitable. When someone we love dies, we feel the emptiness we cannot fill. Perhaps, time can heal but not heal the loss we have felt. There are two types of pains; one is physical and the other mentally.
Sometimes, we would rather endure physical pain than that of mentally pain. The only thing both pains have in common is time will heal all wounds. When our hearts break, the pain is often times unbearable. When we feel love and peace in our hearts, you have a sense of completion.
Our lives as humans correlate with human nature. Sometimes, you will never know what hand you are about to be dealt with. Is it a gamble of fate or is it because some of us are downright lucky? We choose who we want to be with, yet our religion often dictates to us how we live.
Most of us find ourselves busy working and providing for our loved ones. Sometimes, we find true love to enhance our lives with fullness in our hearts. Our lives bring more joy when our children are born. They touch our hearts like no other. Some believe we came from evolution but most believe we have come from our Creator.
We also face trials and adversities, yet we still manage to rise to the occasion. We find ourselves engaged in wars against each other. Guns pointed to each other. Nation leaders support one another, while others—resent the other. In our darkest times, mankind unites to pursue a common goal. We have overcome the threat of evil men that rise above all simply to conquer other men like Hitler. Time and time again, men have been tested through terror and fear. When faced with the gravest of threats like that of a dark lord with extraordinary powers along with his army of twenty billion strong and when hope seems to dark, hope arrives in the least unsuspecting places—or even—people.
Chapter 1
LUCAS
(EARTH 18 YEARS AGO)
Hiding in the dark shadows of the blue planet’s moon, a spacecraft that has traveled from the farthest side of our galaxy remained cloaked as to prevent detection from the blue planet. Inside, four alien beings with extraordinary strength and extraordinary powers enhanced by a powerful entity await their transformation from their alien form to a human newborn child in preparation for the mission.
The spacecraft had journeyed through a wormhole bypassing over a hundred thousand light years to send these four beings for their 18 year mission. Their mission is to infiltrate and live as human newborns to their early youths. They must live as humans to learn its weakness and strengths. Find natural resources and determine whether it can be harvested and be used by the kingdom of the dark lord.
General Melador, sitting at the helm said, Generals, the chamber has been modified for the human transformation.
All four generals looked at one another then stood up at the same time. Melador got up too and walked them to the chamber. As all five walked towards the chamber, Melador provided them with vital information regarding the chamber. He said, The chamber was created to remove previous memories of those we capture. In this case, your state of mind and memories will remain intact.
Arpos then said, General, if I understand it correctly, we will be conscious of our surroundings and yet we still have to rely on our human parents.
Melador thought for a moment, and then replied, That is correct Arpos. However, you will not be able to use any of your powers until you all turn eight years of age. At that point, you will only be able to use only some of your powers.
He paused some more, then continued, You all also have to be careful not showing these abilities to anyone including your human family.
He continued on and said, By the way, on your eighteenth birthday, you will all have your powers completely. You all need to meet somehow. Communicate through telepathy with each other and of course, General Manasar will also communicate with each one of you from time to time.
Upon reaching the room where the chamber was, General Shulten asked Melador if he could be the first. General, I am ready for this.
Melador then responded, Shulten
he then paused and turned to the rest and said, I want to wish you all luck and may your mission bring success to our Lord Phiucas.
Melador then turned back to Shulten and said, You may go inside.
Shulten walked in and prepared for the transformation.
The chamber activated and scanned Shulten. Shulten’s green body matched the light emanating inside the chamber. Shulten then slowly reduced in size. His muscles began to disappear. His body began to reduce in size. Moments later, the chamber opened and a green orb slowly flew out. Pagmor, Arpos and Enesu all looked at the orb that was once Shulten. The orb flew over to the exit as if ready to depart. Instead, it just waited for everyone else.
Arpos then turned to Enesu and said, It’s your turn.
Enesu just looked at Arpos before proceeding into the chamber. The chamber door closed behind her and her transformation began. In just a short time, a silver orb came out of the chamber.
As with Pagmor, he walked in the chamber and said, OK, I’m next.
Once the chamber activated, Pagmor’s extra limbs disappeared and
