    Mobster Gumbo - Michael Polillo

Sal Corbucci stormed into the Club. He went straight past Fat Louie, the stripper with a lazy eye, and the two old men who were in there at 9 a.m. on a Wednesday. His family owned the Club and everyone in Brixton knew it. That's why they had the confidence to give it the name it has. The Corbuccis were the leading mafia family in town and no one would be able to bring them down.

Sal headed for the back office where he kicked open the door and slammed it behind him. Sitting at a table was his cousin Louie. You mean you're in a lot of trouble.

And if I am then who do you think I'm going to take it out on?

Louie laughed and scratched his head.

I'm guessing you want me to help you look for it, right? said Louie.

You're damn right I do, said Sal.

Don't you think I have anything more important to do? he said looking down at the folder.

"That can wait. Come on Louie, I'm only asking you because I know you can keep your mouth shut that it was lost
