About this ebook
Sometimes it takes more strength to let go, than to hold on.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has been the victim of a self-destructive addiction or relationship of any sort. Regardless of what the drug of choice was. As this book will help you to make the necessary changes in your lives. Very often, we addicts discover that it is necessary for us to say, "Goodbye" to certain habits; activities; friends and relationships, in order for us to remain healthy and on the road to recovering.
25% of the world suffer from Mental/Emotional Health challenges of some sort, so there is no need to suffer in silence, or be ashamed of your Mental/Emotional Instability and/or addictive personality.
Having suffered extensively from an array of self-destructive addictions over the past 3 decades. Namely: Bulimia Nervosa; (13 years) Cigarette Smoking; (21 years) drinking of Alcohol (20 years) and the taking of Prescribed & Non-Prescriptive Medication (10 years). This book primary focuses on the "letting go" of the necessary elements in our lives, whilst offering means of support to help us reach the other side.
As a recovering bulimia nervosa sufferer, low self-esteem and poor self-image have been ongoing challenges for me. Challenges I share with many fellow recovering addicts, regardless of what the drug was. Still, these challenges have proven to be motivating factors in my life, encouraging me to further discover and get to know myself again. Affording me opportunities to lovingly accept the "new me!" as well as being able to believe in myself again. They have enabled me to create a life worth living and one which is full of hope, laughter and great enjoyment.
I know that there is a constant and very often daily challenge to stay on the "right road," whilst allowing our authentic selves to emerge and truly shine!
The insight and advise I have shared in this book, will certainly assist you in, "Letting go of the old, in order to bring in the new."

The insight and advise I have shared in this book, will certainly assist you in, Letting go of the old, in order to bring in the new.
Above is my exquisite baby angel, Paige who has a lovely saying.
Introduction
Mental and Emotional Health has often had negative connotations associated with them, which I believe may have hindered many sufferers’ former desires for recovery. Mental and Emotional wellbeing should be just as important in maintaining, as for instance, one’s physical health. My vision is to give a voice to the importance which Mental and Emotional Health have in our lives. There is absolutely no need to feel ashamed and there is certainly no need to suffer in silence. As a recovering addict, we are continually evolving. Shedding off the old, in order to bring in the new. Still, very often we are faced with difficult challenges. When it is necessary for us to let go of old destructive habits and even friendships, in order to remain healthy and on the road to full recovery.
Hopefully by sharing my experiences of letting go,
it will further assist and encourage others to embrace their new lives, after addiction. I believe that this is my life purpose which God has created me for, and I now obediently follow Him every day of my life.
I believe that I have travelled my journey, not only for my own life lessons, but to be able to assist others in their quests, as well. I believe that God has preserved me because of what is within me. He has preserved me for a greater purpose and I wholeheartedly believe that my purpose is to reach out and help each one of YOU!
I pray that I can be a positive, life changing force for others, inspiring them to live their lives to their absolute fullest, by being the very best versions of themselves. Ensuring that we are able to
