About this ebook
The advantage to be taken from this book is that it’s not every day that you meet your soulmate when you first lay your eyes upon them. Sometimes we find love in the most uncertain situations which can cause a lot of trouble and may actually destroy others. It’s not necessarily your intention to go that route but if destined to go in that direction, what’s to stop you? In this book you’ll find out that friends backstab each other, friends turn to foes, jealous mates can’t stand being brushed aside, some kill, some curse and some stand together, all in the name of love! In the end love does conquer all, but that doesn’t mean that all ends with happiness, for sometimes destiny cannot be avoided.
This book teaches you to appreciate life and most importantly the people you love. Go out, do crazy things, live, for you might not have the chance to do so in the afterlife. Love is a very beautiful thing to experience, even though you sometimes have to go through trials and tribulations for it. Take note that life is exquisite when you have someone to share it with.

A spark which none of us were waiting to see but, in just a glimpse, we saw something amazing.
They stared at each as if something was bringing this world upside down, although in his mind the only thought he could whisper to himself, with the same thought echoing through her ears also, was, can this be real, can this be true? Indeed, it was a moment to capture, if it only lasted for a while as she turned away and walked in the opposite direction, leaving him standing there. For him the spark was still there, and he refused to let it pass by. Days would go by but it seemed as if days were not an object to be worried about as the man went crazy for the second that had passed by. I must see her, no, I must know her name. That’s not worth it; I need to be with her, which also alone isn’t enough for me. These were the thoughts that drove a man crazy. Did she know the state she was putting him in? For her it was a feeling that she had never thought she could feel as she kept on messing with his head, not giving him a chance to even say hi. It was such a simple word for all, I mean wasn’t she being cruel enough not to care? I mean, we know she was beautiful. Well, that didn’t describe it; she was exquisite. See now, everyone was being judgmental on her decision, as if they would be part of her life and the decisions that she would need to make. Now in doing so, no one understood her reason and yet they were the first to cast a stone. People are quick to be in one’s life where on the other hand they also have troubles of their own which they need to fix. So it’s safer to avoid these troubles by trying to be in other peoples’ lives. I ask myself, what has she or he done to you to the point where you feel like destroying their integrity and leaving them with nothing but the taste of bitterness in their mouths? Who deserves such an impeccable misery to be around their lives?
Chapter Two
We all have a purpose in life and it is very important to follow that purpose rather than be caught up in someone else’s life. It’s such a shame that one who calls himself/herself a human would inflict such misery on another human instead of minding his/her own business. These people are out here killing other people’s happiness and all that because they don’t have any decency or have the option to make improvements to their own lives. Now as she kept on shining like the star she was, many dreamed of what she had, many lusted for her life. Who wouldn’t though as she glowed radiantly? While on the other hand the same man who wanted her had a lot of complications around his life.
Now let’s take a quick look at his background and his current life. He’s the third child of his family. Now life would be said to be easy when you’re a child as there’s not much to stress about and you live your life as it is. Now out of his friends he was the least handsome. Through all the stages of life, each person will ultimately have to choose their path, and whatever path they take they are the ones to live by that. For recognition, he used to date different girls. Each promised heaven and earth, but in the end all they got were heartbreaks and the bitterness of love. Who could blame them for they were in love and each single word from him assured them that indeed it was love. For him it was easy because he figured that he didn’t catch feelings and would likely never fall in love with any girl. For some reason, most would likely believe that it was indeed true, as he would change girls like the trash being moved out of the house every time it was full. For years, he continued this type of lifestyle until he had to move out of his home and into the city as he had been accepted into a university he had applied for. Now remember that everything was different here as it was a new beginning and a whole new lifestyle. But that wasn’t going to stop Thabo now would it, even when the environment had changed! He still had the same mentality and to our surprise he still pulled it off and was still doing the same thing as he was back at home, but now he did it with a different angle as he played innocent and kept everything about him under wraps and the ladies would not catch on as they deemed him as cute, quiet and a humble man.
Little did they know the devil hidden behind that smile that he kept whenever he was around them. See life is good hey? I mean he was out here living the dream. I for one would not blame him and judge him about the lifestyle he was living. See I went around this place and here you would find girls from different regions and cities. Some were from rural areas and to be in the big city was a dream come true; without parents or relatives around to tell you what to do, what time you should be in the house. Now here was freedom for all the youth who escaped from their parents’ rule. Everyone wanted to enjoy that feeling and no one was denying them that. Although once they got used to this life, it then became difficult as they should have then been independent, but not financially. Now I was also trapped in that life and for me I was always looking for love, and what I got in return was rejection and pain. Then I met this other beautiful girl, walked up to her and introduced myself, made a conversation and could bring about a smile on her beautiful face. We exchanged numbers and kept on being in contact with each other until one day I proposed. She responded, but not the kind of response I was expecting to hear. She responded by saying, You know what? I get that you mean what you just said, and I can tell that you really do love me, but to me there’s no love anymore in this generation of ours.
I asked her, What do you mean? I don’t understand!
She then said, I mean I know that you guys just want a piece of me and after that you’re no longer interested, you just want to sleep with me and move on and I know all your tricks.
At that time I was constantly fighting a losing battle. It seemed that she no longer believed in love and for her to have such a mentality meant that some of the other girls probably had the same mindset. For me to prove that it was true I questioned as many girls as possible and 80% of them said the same thing. Welcome to South Africa I say! But then if no one believes in love, how is it possible that we still value the people close to us, how do we still care, and to my theory I came up with an answer to answer every one of them. If you don’t believe in love then you’re most likely not having or knowing it! The reason I say so is that remember Thabo, the man who was a player and didn’t believe in love? Well, he was about to shock us. Let’s continue and see where he headed with his belief. Now as he kept on looking for that one who had captured his eye, everything started to change. I am talking about his lifestyle; he now stopped chasing after every girl he had an interest in. Now you would say that he was growing, but was he? Let’s not forget that the same person we are talking about did not believe in love, so what could make him change? Was it the girl he saw? Could she be the reason, I wonder? As he continued to search for this soul that made him crumble by just looking at her, the one who made him stare with so much intuition on his mind, Thabo was already imagining a future with a stranger he had seen a couple of days before. He didn’t even know the girl’s name. We asked ourselves as his friends: What has gotten to his mind? We were witnessing a new person right in front of us. He wouldn’t even spill the beans so that we would know who was behind all of this. Whoever it was, he/she was working his/her magic.
Along the way, I for one met another extremely exquisite soul. I was taken for a ride. I mean who would’ve thought that I would meet such a beautiful girl after the last one I had met. In that moment I wasted no time and I quickly reacted and walked up to her. Excuse me miss, sorry to bother you, but would you mind if I were to know your name?
She replied, Hi, no! I do not mind, my name is Precious and you, what’s your name?
I responded with a huge smile on my face. My name is Sylvester!
and from there we exchanged numbers and we kept in touch. However, as I kept on viewing her pictures that she sent on my phone, I would literally go crazy, and I told myself, you know what? I won’t waste any time. I picked up my phone, called her and asked if we could meet; there was something I needed to tell her and I couldn’t do it over the phone. She agreed! We went out, grabbed a couple of drinks, checked out some movies and had dinner. While sitting down at the restaurant I started to pour out my heart and told her how I felt about her and what it would mean to have her by my side. She blushed, but most of all she said she felt the same way about me. I was so happy I could have skyrocketed out of this realm and into my own. We parted ways and I went back to my place. I still could not believe what had just happened. It felt like a dream. I kept pinching myself thinking that I would wake up, but it didn’t happen. Right before I slept, I called her and asked if she was serious or was just toying with me?
She said, No, I also love you,
although it still felt like a dream. I kept my composure under wraps for two weeks before I could let my friends know about the seven wonders that had just happened to me. For one I needed to be sure that this was real, and it wasn’t a shady thing.
Once I told my friends about her they were happy and so eager to meet her, and I also wanted them to meet her, my love as it blasted to my heart. After a few weeks I brought her over to meet my friends, but one would never imagine that I would have seen something so absurd. As we walked towards my friends she was smiling, talking and happy. Then, as we were standing there, it happened, something I didn’t expect. Thabo came over to see my girlfriend but the minute he got there, there it was, he was staring at her as if they knew each other from way back and he couldn’t even blink or take his eyes off her. As we thought that something strange was happening to him, she was also gazing at him as if she had been with him for years. This took about four minutes. Once they snapped out of it, Thabo left without saying a word. While she was asking me if we should go, I asked her, What’s the problem love, are you okay?
She replied, Yes I am okay, love.
But then I could see that her mood had suddenly changed. As weeks passed by, I could still sense that moment which had happened between them, but then I didn’t take it to my head since she was mine. Then I and my friends saw something strange. Thabo was happy and energetic and friendlier than everyone. We asked each other if something had happened to put him into such a mood.
When we asked him, he simply said, Nothing mates, I am just in a good mood.
We thought it would only last for days, but boy oh boy, we were wrong as he lasted weeks and on the other hand my girlfriend was also in a good mood almost every day. I didn’t take it into consideration and kept moving on with life. She came over to see me and brought a friend along. We talked, had fun and I could see that the friend was into me and she pretended not to see it. I played along also. Thabo came in and we all chilled and to tell the truth I was so happy because now it was two by two, and as the night went along Thabo suggested that we get more drinks and I didn’t feel like going out. So I suggested that he should go with my girlfriend’s friend but then she also refused and said she didn’t feel like going out because she was tired. Then he went out with my girlfriend. Thabo’s room was just two doors away from my place. Then I asked the friend if these two people had gone out for a long time and said that it didn’t take this long to get beers and get back. At some point it was happening too often but I didn’t take it into consideration because I loved Precious and trusted her completely, and for me just to break that trust over a mere thought wasn’t going to do it, although there was something in my gut that had doubts about the two. Again, I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, so I just went along with the flow until I saw that my girlfriend was always bringing company with her. I thought it was for Thabo, but then you could see that she came with different girls every week. I mean what was up with her and why did she always go out or find an excuse to have some time with Thabo? This person came to visit me but it seemed as if she was visiting Thabo, the way they disappeared without a trace for hours and pitched back all happy and smiley.
One time she came with another friend of hers and while they were both out her friend started making some moves on me. I was surprised and told her to stop, then I thought about it. I asked her a question. Why would you try and throw yourself at your friend’s boyfriend?
She then looked surprised and felt ashamed. I was quick to point it out and asked her if she knew that I was her friend’s boyfriend? Then she started apologising and saying that it was just that she really liked me and she thought I liked her too. I could tell however that something was off so I left my room and went straight to Thabo’s room and there it was. At that moment I just froze. I couldn’t think, talk or do anything. Only shock was running through my veins. Precious was completely naked and was on top of Thabo, screaming her lungs out with the purest of joy and as for Thabo, a person whom I considered a friend, he was busy having sex with my girlfriend. I just couldn’t believe my eyes. I mean the woman I loved was being busy with a friend of mine. Yet after just a few seconds I completely lost it, and luckily enough my friends walked in, right on time to tame me as hell was about to feel my wrath. You don’t understand the pain of seeing someone you dearly love in another man’s arms and them making love to each other. On top of that it was someone you called a dear friend doing that to you. So you can understand my rage, and as it played out, she ran away half naked. Thabo followed her and didn’t come by his room for days. Little did he know that I was patient enough to wait the whole year. I then met him in the streets and I just lost it again. I went after him and started pulping his face with furious fists filled with rage and hate. People tried to stop me but were unable to and like that, I nearly killed him.
He stayed in ICU for nine weeks and when he got out I didn’t want anything to do with him, although my friends were begging me to please ask for forgiveness and I for one wanted to say sorry to him, but pride wouldn’t let me as the grudge was now stronger than ever before. Time went by and word got out that they were dating, and even though I held a grudge against them I just needed to let go and move on with my life. Precious kept on asking for forgiveness and I wouldn’t even shed a tear, so we went on with our lives but as for me I still felt inexorable towards both and for that I became deranged and plotted my revenge. I went after Thabo’s sister and slept with her, took pictures as evidence, went after Precious’s sisters also and her cousins just to spite them, and in the end it was worth it for me but it didn’t do any damage to them. I was broken for a whole year, not dating or socialising because I was still hurt and bewailing. As I recall, Thabo was happily in love, and both deserved each other. After all this mist the spark they had shone even brighter than that which many would have expected and as we had believed, love didn’t exist because of Thabo. Unfortunately he proved us wrong. We all saw how he looked at her and how he behaved around her. It was then I declared that Thabo was in love. The only person whom we thought never believed in love was in love, amazing as it was. You could never have imagined such. Not only were they in love with each other, but the romance they also had with each other was to die for. For us guys it was a normal day-to-day routine for lovers but with the ladies, it made them jealous as they also longed for that kind of romance in their relationships. We guys have that mentality of saying that we had or have sex with our partners and to us sex is where we try to prove our worth and cement our places in these girls’ hearts. Most importantly, we are making a statement in that whoever you go to won’t give it to you the way you yourself do and to these ladies all they wished for was to be made love to and not made sex to, because it held a different meaning to them. For them sex was a way of escaping their troubles or just lusting for pleasure and it ended there. However, being made love to is all they longed for because, believe it or not, to them it was a way to show the passion you had for each other and the romance you had with each other. Let’s not forget that if you were making love to a lady you needed to be romantic and not rush to have yourself inside her as if you were having sex, simply because making love requires romance and it’s a moment in a lady’s life that she’ll never forget, so it has to be special. Now Thabo and Precious had that and were very pleasant with it. They would make love to each other at any spot they found to be romantic and live in that moment. I mean they would do it in a public park, in fitting rooms; to them it was an element of how crazy they could both be and the limits that they could reach, and boy oh boy they were perceived as the craziest couple ever. In a day they would make love to each other about four to five times. That’s crazy right? But it’s what sets the romance and certainly sparks up the relationship and elevates it to new heights each and every single day. Sometimes she would burn the food she was cooking because when he came by and saw her cooking, he would just jump onto her and start making love to her right there and then. He would take her out to a surprise dinner, wake her up with an English breakfast while she was still in bed and take her to places she dreamed of going. I mean she was living the romantic dream. At times he would just shower her with gifts and more gifts.
We all know that a
