    My heart raced as the rear wheels hit the ground with a slight jerk and sped across the runway. I held the armrest and let out a sigh. My co-passenger on the flight was pushing her palm against the back of the front seat for support. The resemblance was uncanny. Chopped hair, soft skin, dusky complexion, and in her early twenties, she was so much like someone I knew. She was wearing a fluorescent top, her shapely legs held in flimsy tights.
