That’s a lot of money, Dana says to me as she looks over my shoulder at the website statistics page.  It’s more this month than the last three months combined.

I nod my head.  Yeah, we are doing very well now.  I feel my wife’s lips on the back of my neck as she kisses me.  Her arms soon come around my neck and shoulders as well as she puts her chin on my shoulder. 

We need to keep it up, Rob.  Since you quit your job at the company we have had to rely entirely on what we are getting off the website.  I was a human resources manager for several years with a company in the city.  The job was at times difficult to say the least, made easier by the fact that I had a great co-manager by the name of Shane.  He now works the human resources manager position on his own, and I am proud of him.  However, the amount of money coming in through the website that my wife and I started more than six months ago is three times what I was making at my old job.

I came by to see if you wanted to get lunch with me and you were nowhere to be found.  The doors were locked tight and the lights off, Dana.  Where were you?

Are you spying on me now?  She shakes her head and continues to frown.  I never thought that you would stoop so low as to spy on me.

I was just looking to take you to lunch with me, honey.  It has nothing to do with spying on you.  After taking a quick breath to calm myself, I add, It doesn’t matter anyway.  It’s just that I thought you were going to be working hard on the spa.  That has been your focus for a while, right?  You do want to compete with the salon down the street from your place, don’t you?
