About this ebook

When we speak of a "door" in a spiritual sense, we are speaking of gaining access to another dimension. A door controls the entrance into the spiritual dimension even as a door controls the entrance into our home. If a door is that important in our natural life, how much more so does it applies to our spiritual home in heaven? We do not think of leaving our natural home without a key to get back in, yet we are given the impression by some that we can gain access anytime we please. But even the disciples of Jesus were taken aback with the demands put on them in order to enter the Kingdom of God. From the very beginning God made it clear "that without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin." This pattern has been the central theme of the Bible both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. The question of sin still lies at the door of man's consciousness and is the main issue facing mankind throughout the world.

Richard O. Govier (1928-2018) was a Protestant pastor and missionary and travelled the world in that capacity. He planted a number of churches as well as training pastors who served in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and across the United States. After his marriage to his lifetime sweetheart, Christine Ann Golfis, at the Bethesda Missionary College in Portland, Oregon, he attended extension classes at Pierce College and the Portland State college. Touched by the Latter Rain revival that began in the Northwest, the call of God rested continually on their hearts and they were forever seeking means of preaching the Gospel to their generation. They bought a small trailer and began an evangelistic trek across the United States, preaching in small churches that were open to the work and moving of the Holy Spirit. They criss-crossed the United States from Los Angeles to New York and finally settled down in Los Angeles where they both got jobs and attended a church in Long Beach, California. While serving in that church their son, Jeffrey Lee, was born on November 4, 1963.God had spoken through prophetic words that they would be going to a land whose language they would not understand. Going through a dry period in their lives, Richard loaded up a small tent and made a trip to Mount Palomar, to wait on God. After a week of prayer and fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke to his heart that it was time to fulfill the call to a foreign land. Richard, Christine, and Jeff, set out for Brazil. They had no financial support for this until the night they boarded the ship. God sent a local Christian businessman who committed himself to their support for two years, just enough time to attend language school. It was while attending the Brazilian language school that a missionary visited and introduced Richard to one of Brazil's most notable guitar players, who had recently converted to Christianity. Richard played with him on the banjo and the two began a ministry together that took them to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. Richard taught pastors in afternoon meetings, while accompanying his Brazilian friend in large city-wide evangelistic campaigns in the evenings. After serving for ten years in South America, Richard and Christine returned to the United States, primarily to get Jeff into an English-speaking school. Richard pastored churches in York, Pennsylvania, and later in Brooksville, New Jersey. The family eventually moved to Florida where Richard went to work for Piper Aircraft and Page Avjet.Richard loved studying the word of God and, in his retirement years, wrote over thirty books about the unfolding revelations of God in human history. His son, Jeff, published these books one year after his father passed away.

    Introduction

When we speak of a door in a spiritual sense, we are speaking of gaining access to another dimension. A door controls the entrance into the spiritual dimension even as a door controls the entrance into our home. If a door is that important in our natural life, how much more so does it applies to our spiritual home in heaven? We do not think of leaving our natural home without a key to get back in, yet we are given the impression by certain teachers of the Bible that the door to the Kingdom of God is wide open and that we can gain access anytime we please. But even the disciples of Jesus, including the twelve that Jesus had chosen, were taken aback with the demands put on them by Jesus in order to enter the Kingdom of God. Here were men that had forsaken all in order to follow Jesus, and yet they despaired at their own ability to enter the Kingdom of God. But Jesus reassured them. With man this is impossible; but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Choosing the right door into the spiritual dimension of God became an issue in the very beginning when Cain tried to please God by offering a sacrifice of his own choosing. God had provided access through the vicarious offering of a lamb until the day that Jesus died on the cross as the true way unto God. Abel got it right. And Abel, on his part brought of the firstlings of the flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering (Genesis 4:4).

Abel had apparently learned this approach from his father Adam. The Bible describes one consequence of the disobedience by Adam and Eve. Then God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them (Genesis 3:21). This was just a prelude to Adam's practice of offering animal sacrifices unto God as a covering for their sins. In the fifth chapter of the Book of Moses it says: And Adam and Eve, his wife, called on the name of the Lord, and they heard the voice of the Lord from the way toward the Garden of Eden, speaking unto them, and they saw him not; for they were shut out from his presence. And he gave unto them commandments, that they should worship the Lord their God, and should offer the firstlings of their flock, for an offering unto the Lord. And Adam was obedient unto the commandments of the Lord (Moses 5:4, 5). Then in verse 12 it says: And Adam and Eve blessed the name of God, and they made all things known unto their sons and their daughters.[1]

We therefore assume that Cain, being aware of the commandment of God, knew full well what he was doing when he offered a substitute offering to God. But unto Cain, and his offering, he [the Lord] had no respect. Now Satan knew this, and it pleased him. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the Lord said unto Cain: Why art thou wroth? Why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, thou shalt be accepted. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, and Satan desireth to have thee; and except thou shall hearken unto my commandments, I will deliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire.[2]

When the Lord said unto Cain that 'sin lieth at the door' he was indicating to Cain that the doorway unto God was about to be closed and that there would be no more chance for his salvation. Unless he repented and changed his ways, that he would be delivered up and Satan would become his master.

From the very beginning God made it clear "that without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin." This pattern has been the central theme of the Bible both in the Old Testament and the New Testament. The question of sin still lies at the door of man's consciousness and is the main issue facing mankind throughout the world. Yet many have not learned a lesson from Cain and still give strange offerings to God until this day.

    2. Moses 5:21-23

    I. A UNIVERSE OF MATTER AND ENERGY

Mankind has looked to the starry sky as heaven for thousands of years. The ancients worshiped the Sun, Moon, and Stars as gods and the Galaxies as God's throne. But as majestic as they seem, they are only a part of God's physical dimension of the universe. The physical universe is only God's handiwork and an outward expression of His glory.

The Bible says that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word is Jesus Christ and the Word is also information. Hence the concept of the x, y, and z parameters of reality. Matter, Energy, and Information (DNA, universal code, intelligent design).[1]

    A. The Quantum Physics Hypotheses

Quantum physics states that everything in the universe is pure energy, differing only in rate of vibration. We must understand that all things exist as energy even beyond the ordinary physical dimension to the realm where current scientific instruments cannot measure its rate of vibration. All things exist as energy from the lowest rate of vibration, the densest physical condensate of matter all the way to the highest rate of vibration in the universe. The source, God. The entire universe is a single Super Spectrum of Universal Energy.[2]

"Some people have the perspective that the physical universe of matter and energy was created and therefore may be destroyed… But Einstein says the energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It is merely converted from one form to another. The Universal Equation E = MC/2 does not mean Matter is converted Energy. It means Matter
