Writing of St. Ignatius

110 AD

In 110 AD. St. Ignatius was the bishop of Antioch who was arrested by the Roman soldiers and sent to Rome to be killed and eaten by the lions. On his was he wrote seven letters to Churches; to the Church of Smyrnaeans in chapter 8 he wrote

"... wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. " Now this was written in a time when there was no Roman Catholic Church, no Eastern Orthodox Church and no reform Protestant Church. The word Catholic is a Greek word that mean Universal.

+ Dr. Hozvicka Completed and received 18 Diploma’s for independent Bible studies from various Protestant Churches and colleges of various Christian Faith and teachings.

+ He earned his Bachelor of Theology Degree from St. Anthony’s an Orthodox Seminary Nov. 5, 1989

+ Upon his consecration as bishop of the Old Catholic Church he was award an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Divinity from Agape of Jesus Seminary, Sept. 6, 1991

+ He enrolled in a independent course study at the Institute of Jewish-Christian Studies and received his diploma for his extra Jewish-Christian studies Diploma Nov. 1, 1991

+ Upon his calling Dr. Hozvicka was ordained as a Priest of The Old Catholic Church (an independent Church, not under the Pope of Rome, Certificate of Ordination Jan. 26th 1991.

+ After fulfilling a six month waiting period he was called to the Episcopal status and was Consecrated as Bishop, of the Old Catholic Church, Certificate of Consecration Cleveland Diocese, July 14 1991.

+ He earned his Master of Divinity from Agape of Jesus Seminary, Sept. 6, 2005

+ Dr. Hozvicka was appointed archbishop by his holiness patriarch Mar +Marcus-I of the Byzantine Catholic Church, Inc. Independent Jurisdiction. May 31, 2011 

+ Dr. John Paul Hozvicka D.D. Is a teacher of the Holy Scriptures and author of 125 lessons in 30 courses? Teaching at St. Paul Bible Institute
