Food for Her Heart: Poems of Romance
()
About this ebook
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.
Throughout the centuries food and love have been forever entwined and poets have often used this theme to great effect, with verse that plays on the connections between the two. Almost every famous poet has, at some time in their life, pondered over the link and sentiment of eating and loving and today it is no different.
This collection of poetry, Food for Her Heart: Poems of Romance, again touches on the theme with a range of entertaining poems that explore our love of food and our love of one another.
Poems like the endearingly appreciative Breakfast in Bed, or Pasta of Apology for that day when you didn’t quite get it right, or even taking you right back to the very beginnings with First Date in Mexico.
However food came to feature in your relationship, you’ll be sure that there will be a poem that will stir your memory of it and how it came to play such an important and charming part of your relationship.

Food for Her Heart - The Duke of Quails
Conclusion
Introduction
Every man at some point in his life has asked himself one simple question: How can I win her heart?
If you ask at least five people that question, you’ll probably receive five different answers. Every girl is different, so, how can you win your girl's heart? Metaphorically speaking, the main function of a heart is to love. The two main parts of the body are the heart and the brain. Your brain controls almost everything—your memory, bodily functions, movements, and so much more—but your brain can’t live without a heart. The heart stores feelings, emotions, attraction, and love. A brain has no emotions or feelings – it needs a heart. The same can be said about the heart: it lacks judgment when picking the right person to love.
What does that have to do with winning a girl's heart? I want you to imagine, for a minute, that her heart is deaf and can’t hear a word you’re saying—it can’t hear how many times you say I love you,
how many times you express your undying love, or how much you want her and need her. Then ask yourself, "If she can’t hear how much I care about her or how I
