On Friday I was at Pick n Pay in Gallo Manor in the check-out queue.

A mean-spirited lady was complaining to me about the fact I had run off to get something and left my trolley in the queue. She had moved my trolley, saying that if everyone did what I had done, then what?

Well, we all do it, a quick run-off and it doesn’t hold anyone or anything up. It’s not like I was doing my shopping – it was just one forgotten item. She was so unpleasant, and I told her so. But it left a bad taste in my mouth. Why are some people so ungracious?
