WE CAN never be absolutely, truly, 100% sure how things are going to turn out. The past three years showed life can present obstacles and opportunities in the blink of an eye. We can plan and predict, hoping to have some measure of control, but in the end, there are always potential unknowns.
It can be terrifying, but also exciting when things go topsy turvy. Growth rarely happens in times of stability – although I know many of us crave that steadiness after the wild year that was 2022.
By the sounds of it, this year is going to be another marked by challenges, many of them beyond our control. We can’t manage the war in Ukraine, we can’t tackle inflation and we can’t fix Eskom ourselves.
