This song I wrote is going to change the game worldwide, for everyone.

Have you ever heard that statement, or maybe have said this yourself once upon a time? We have been taught by the media and social outlets that the way to success stations will contact us just to talk about how we created the song, and award shows will shower us with trophies and money just because of our creativity, thus making people want to buy it more to dance to… and that equals success.

This, my friend, is The World ’s System.

(James 4:14 NIV), What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

It is a well-known fact that Jesus came not because of fame, but of pain. He suffered and died on the cross for our sins, and because of that act, He is still talked about all over the world not just to say that He did it, but to TURN ALL SOULS TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The difference between The World … God or You? If we are to thrive in God’s System, we must follow the method of Christ.

Jesus every day. We have been put through many trials and tribulations in our lives from birth until now, yet we refuse to share the details of our pain to help other’s get through theirs. We brush over our pain as if it’s too much to speak about, and head straight to the restoration and expect people to be changed forever… that’s not God’s system. People will not fully grasp the concept of restoration until they fully grasp the concept of the pain that was endured.

We fully grasp our salvation ’s system, we must allow Him to use our pain in its completeness to help bring others into the full knowledge of the Kingdom of God.

Some Critical Questions to Ask Yourself:

1. Am I truly striving for success , or my own gain?

2. Have I fully been restored from my pain?

3. Why am I not using my personal pain and restoration more in the music I create?

No matter what you have done, where you came from, or what challenges you had to face, you can make a difference with your words and with your musical career.

CHAPTER ONE

Who Are You?

Do you remember the movie The Godfather?

In the beginning scene, a man named Amerigo Bonasera (which means America Goodnight) went to seek a favor from The Godfather. He asked The Godfather to take someone out because his daughter was raped. Apparently, Amerigo went to the police first, but justice as he wanted was never carried out. So, he went to the only other place he thought that he could get the justice he wanted. The Mafia.

The Godfather told Amerigo that the reason why he went to the police was because he thought that the American System would take care of him. Amerigo told him that the System failed him, so now he was forced to go to the underground Mafia System. The Mafia had formed their own system of exacting justice. Now, The Godfather ordered his people to carry out Amerigo’s wish, but in turn owned Amerigo because they were trading favors. Anytime the Godfather asked him for something, Amerigo had no choice but to oblige… which paid dividends later in the movie.

This is a picture of the modern day Christian . Most Christian Recording Artists feel that the Christian System is failing them, and that they must turn to a secular system to get things accomplished.

In many cases, they were not actually looking to God to be their provider but had taken their eyes away from what God provided for them and started looking to people or another source with perceived greatness to be their provision… trusting in a secular system that takes the image of being a viable option, when that is not what God had provided for His plan.

Proverbs 14:12, There is a way that seems right, but in the end, leads to death.

Maybe not physical death, but it could be spiritual death… Like some Christian , because of the environment, or the company you keep.

1 Corinthians 15:33, Do not be misled, Bad company corrupts good morals.
